From reading countless forum posts it would seem that players are more prone to get repeats than something new. Kind of makes you question the validity of RNG. In a true RNG you would expect a pretty even ratio of one weapon drop to another. This may still be the case if you had the ability to track all of the drops and crunch the numbers. That however does not mean a skew doesnt exist. If someone gets 5 ghorns then that means 4 other people will not get them in that same time period. It would have to be this way if the ratio were to remain even. If this is so the chances of someone receiving 5 + ghorns should be almost statistically impossible. I have also wondered if RNG even applies to the vault. I have come to believe that items in the vault may be based off of percentages (excluding chests). I say this because, like you, i have felt that Found Verdict drops disproportionately to any other one item obtained through the vault (with chatterwhite being an exception). Obviously none of this can be proved and they are my own personal opinions, but some things dont appear to be on the level. Thankfully i dont stress to hard about having/not having a particular weapon. There are many suitable replacements for whatever you are looking for.

Stop crying this stuff happens to most players, I got 2 energies 6 times in a row for beating crota and that's just the recent story I have many more, I have killed over 300 of crotas Knights and still haven't gotten husk of the pit and I've never had quite a few exotics drop I bought them from xur.
