Why are people saying the hunter is "overpowered"?
I have been on the forums for the last few days, and I've stumbled across many people saying hunters are too overpowered. I have two hunter's and I love them, but I don't think they are overpowered, because of our melee, we only take down the shield of our enemies. Our supers are mainly for pve. The perks on our supers are mainly for pve because on the blade dancer, it has invisibility. In the nightfall this perk has saved me several times. If anything is a bit more powerful than the other characters it is the titan. The titan's melee's (shoulder charge and storm grip) are way too overpowered. Also in the crucible, titans love to super one person, instead of a group, and has way too much range. I've been hit in mid-air by these supers. I'm not trying to say only one thing is is overpowered, but in certain circumstances, one player's super is better than the other.

I don't think they're op, but I think it's because hunters super ability are mobile.

Because they are getting killed by them in Crucible, so....just like anything else that kills them in Crucible, they try to get it nerfed or banned. Maybe if people spent more time in Crucible and less time doing raid for the millionth time, they wouldn't be so bad at it.

Because anything that kills you more than once in this game is over powered. They want to reduce this game into the mess that Call of Duty is today.

Same reason they complain anything is OP, they get killed by it a couple times in Crucible, and since their l337ness absolutely precludes someone else actually being better they're either hacking/cheating or using an OP class/weapon/shader.

They're just op in crucible (not iron banner) Because all three classes have equal defense but the supers on hunters are guaranteed multi kills in crucible (as long as you aren't retarded). Average super kills pretty much go like this Fist of havoc: 2 (most titans panic and sometimes get only one kill but get lucky once or twice a match and get 3 or 4) Ward of Light: 10, jk 0 XD Radiance: 1 or 2 (most Sunsingers just get revenge on their killers) Nova bomb: 3 (pretty effective and range allows it to go pretty hard) Golden gun: (3, idk how you could get less) Arc blade: 4 or 5 (encore and mask of the third man can keep you in arc blade insta kill super speed mode for 20 seconds)

The reason people think hunters are op is because the only time it matters is when your playing crucible. Hunters are well build for crucible and have supers to back that up. This is a trade off for their lack luster supers in PvE. My point is hunters are not over powered. They are geared to mainly crucible and the only reason the complaints start is because someone got shot with a golden gun 3 or 4 times in a match.

2 Repliesmainly because of PvP invisibility is good for traps not to mention it hides you off radar which is a pain for those who rely mainly on the radar to tell them where enemies are then you have the supers, 3 supers are more of a stationary type thing where the other 3 with which you can move around while using, hunters are the class with 2 move and kill supers so while a titan has to rely on enemies grouping up to get multiple kills a hunter can start on one side of the map and finish on the other having killed multiple players on the way

Hunters are relatively op in crucible, its a fact but it does kinda balance out in the long run. Pve they are naff, yeah you can go invisible which is incredibly handy but thats a class perk not the super. The supers are pretty useless in pve as they dont do a lot and then you get squished.
