Fatebringer vs updated legendarys
A couple of days ago I received the badger scout rifle with exactly the same perks as fatebringer. I was excited as I had not yet received fatebringer. However I obtained it just a few hours ago and I'm wondering which one to upgrade (fatebringer goes to 300, badger to 331, also FB has ark damage)
Which one do you think I should? Bear in mind I'll be doing CE on hard as soon as its available!

1 Replykeep the Fatebringer! it may be 300 Attack stat, but with explosive Rounds AND Firefly it's the best primary for Arc Burn!

It really depends on the situation but fate bringer mostly, I have the crucible scout with same perks the first day of dlc and love it, it's like a long range fatebringer

FB because of elemental. That said, I like scout rifles better.

Warlock that soloed CE last week had FB as his primary. FB ftw all day

2 Replies331 hand cannons with the same impact as fatebringer do about 10-15% more damage per shot. HOWEVER. Fatebringer is one of only two primary arc weapons in the game you can obtain. It's also the only handcannon I have ever seen with the firefly perk. So it is a fantastic weapon, great for arc burn nightfalls, arc shields and crowd control. Keep it.

I got badger in a drop at the start of the dlc maxed its a good gun but fatebringer is my favourite primary weapon

4 RepliesEdited by Semperfi1999: 1/18/2015 7:31:16 PMWell even with the 331 vs 300 difference....due to the impact difference the 300 fatebringer handcannon will still do more dmg per shot than the scout rifle will. That scout rifle would beat out the dmg of a similar 300 scout rifle but handcannons are a different beast with having the highest impact dmg per shot out of all other primary weapons.
