lamp cheese on crota
I know so many people moan about cheesing and being casual players blah blah! But is there an easy way of getting through the lamps with less than 6 members of a fire team?! Some of us don't have loads of randoms on the account plus don't want squeaking kids down the mic!

3 RepliesHere ya go. Titan Striker, max agility, higher jump, Mida multitool/murmur Warlock Max agility, higher jump, Mida multitool/murmur, angel of light. Hunter Blade dancer, max agility, higher jump, midi multitool/murmur. You can cleanse on the rock before jumping to avoid adds.

Can be soloed on hard with a skilled hunter. My friend can solo it every time. Takes me about 20 tries to get it though.

Yep - hunter full invisibility and agility perks. Activate the first lamp then back off to start point. When the thrall all go there sneak around the left side and skip the rest of the lamps. If you only move when invisible you can get all the way to end easy. Activate the last lamp, get high and kill the ogre. If you have a team get them to draw the thrall at the start, makes it easier to sneak past them

Youtube dark below lantern launch, you can't launch anymore but if you get on that rock you can just jump up to the next area and just walk to the end and kill the ogre on the rock next to the lantern and run across when bridge built

9 RepliesIf you have a mida multi tool you can just walk your way to the end without having to go invis or cheesing. Then either switch to icebreaker or another sniper on the rock for ogres.

8 RepliesDo it solo. It's fairly easy with hunter or lock. Kinda tough with Titan but not impossible.

1 ReplyAll you need is 2 titans, 2 warlocks, a mix of those, or 1 hunter to make it through the lamps.

Option 1: go to each lamp, jump on the top of the lamp.hold on until all weight is gone.flash bangs for the Titan or solar grenade for the warlock are quite helpful to get the mobs off your back.when the lamp is near exploding,the mobs will split,that is your que to run to the next lamp,repeat until you reach the end. Option 2:run to the second lamp at the start where guardians used the explosion of the lamp to propel them on to the top position.there is a rock they use to explode off.this is the same rock you will jump on to.wait for the weight of darkness to completely lift.use either Titan height jump or warlocks third jump on the sunsinger I believe it's fast and balanced or something along those lines.hunters jump wouldn't work for me but hey that is what invisible is for on bladedancer.follow the explosion cheese route once up there and it's clear sailing. End: this applies for both options, they also can be done solo with no fireteam needed.activate the bridge by walking into the totem/sync plate run straight to a near by Rock, jump up and this will keep you from getting killed from thralls.ensure you take out the ogre before he gets to close.good luck.

RLF....run like fûck! Use AoE grenades (great if warlock / Titan) Only stay at the lamps for the minimum time required to get the weight of darkness down. If you have a couple of 'casualties' early, probably best to reset. If it happens in the second half then leave them behind....bad as it sounds. YouTube which rock you need go jump on at the top to stay safe (if solo or small group) but ensure you activate that last lamp / the pressure pad and let the lamp blow up before jumping up. Just do it normally. 3 people should be no issue, continous damage grenades, fusion rifles, run 2 lamps at a time then cleanse, stick together, have someone calling where the next is. On last few lamps switch out fusion for black hammer. Ogres go down in seconds, easy peasy

5 RepliesFrom start run straight to the second lamp. Run around the big rock to the right side of the lamp and jump on top of the rock. Then run and double jump off of the rock onto the bridge. Then walk to the end of the stage without worrying about any thrall because they're all still at the second lamp wondering where you went... I solo the lamps all the time...
