Before reading : [b]I'm not trying to be elitist either if he sells it I will admit I was wrong no strings attached, this is just my theory because bungie likes to keep us on the grind.[/b] Gjallarhorn is the most demanded and powerful exotic in the game at the moment for the raids / strikes. He sold it once and suddenly Atheon was dying was easier than expected. That's where they drew the line. He sold ice breaker this week in preparation for the hard raid I assume because ice breaker will be a necessary weapon.. I got both my Ghjallarhorn and 2 icebreakers from RNG a while back, so yes both buying from xur and RNG are earning it, and have upgraded them all to maxed 331 damage, and there is no way they xur will sell a 331 Gjallarhorn to the open public. It would literally [u]break the game[/u]. It would make everything too easy and give away the one exotic most people are grinding to get, bungie isn't that nice hey barely even sell heavy ammo synths anymore. If xur was to ever sell Gjallarhorn the only real disappointment would be that so many people would buy it, it would have a need coming inbound just as the icebreaker is predicted to get a PvE ninja nerf within the next week or two once people start widely using it. For that reason, I hope and predict the Gjallarhorn will not be sold again! Bungie needs us to be grinding for something all the time, we all know that, and because Gally is literally the most highly demanded weapon on destiny, why would they sell it and fill that gap for 23 coins?
