Not sure if someone made a thread about em yet. Whatever, here's one. So the nominations are out (go google em), and though we can all probably agree that the Oscars are hardly indicative of talent or quality filmmaking, there's actually some good stuff up this year (certainly better than last year).
Anybody have any predictions or anything they want to see win, regardless of the circlejerk that the Academy is? I'm kind of pulling for [i]The Grand Budapest Hotel[/i] for at least Best Screenplay, but I kind of expect [i]Birdman[/i] to take home a lot and be the big film everyone talks about this year.
