I have tried soloing crota and the closest I have gotten is to about 1/3 of his health left. Then it just started to go downhill from there. It's either not getting away from him fast enough or my gally not 2 shotting his shield. Any tips you can offer?

I see your using RB when you attack him should I stick with that or try and mix it up?

Just did Another flawless and i was realy unlucky with crota not droping on his knee. will link video here once uploaded so you can see how to get away.

Dont know the maping on Xbone controler but il try anyways. A good sword combo for soloing: swing+swing+groundslam+swing. then run. or 3 ground slams.However if you end with a ground slam it can delay you and crota can get up and kill you. First time i solod crota i only used swing( R1 on ps) . All depends on how fast you can get up there. as for gjallarhorn failure: as soon as you shoot your second rocket, pick up sword and jump towards Crota.dont even look if he goes down. after you doublejump. swing your sword Once towards Crota. if he havent started to drop then you simply pull your thumb stick back and swing again and get back to where you shoot him and reload and try again.Crota will be stunned by clusters so he usualy wont hit you if you do that fast enough.
