why is everyone upset about icebreaker being sold...
Can someone enlighten me as to why there are so many butthurt guardians becuase icebreaker is being sold!

No amount of "work" in this game will guarantee you anything aside from exotic weapon bounties or strange coins. I bought the ice breaker when Xur first sold it, and bought 2 more yesterday. IMO everyone is "entitled" to every weapon that exists in the game. Some people have rotten luck when it comes to drops (myself included). Everyone should enjoy the weapon they are able to buy with their hard earned strange coins.

3 nightfalls, 4 chests of VoG and 4 boss drops, and the guy who spent all the time dead got the exotic drop, screw RNG, if I can buy I will, after all those coins aren't free either.

Because they aren't special snowflake any more and they can't act like they're better than everyone because they got blessed by RNGesus (or bought it themselves when it was sold in week 2, in which case they definitely should shut the -blam!- up).

So let's change the scenario but keep the principle the same shall we. On one hand we have the kid with a job. This hypothetical kid works hard. Has a solid ethic. Gets promoted. Saves up enough money to buy a car. On the other hand we have another guy. Somehow he enters into a sweepstakes and get chosen to be on a game show. In this game show he gets really lucky and wins the same car as the first guy. But now everyone says that the fist guy did less to earn his car than the second guy? Makes a ton of sense right? In other words. Shut up about how they weren't lucky enough to get it randomly dropped and had to grind to save enough strange coins to buy it. Getting lucky isn't earning. End of story.

I actually have two ice breakers so I couldn't care less. Makes no difference to me, actually only helps my raid team as a few dont have it. Ppl bitch when xur sells crap and then bitch again when he sells one of the best weapons... Ohhhh the self righteous entitlement you scrubs have is beyond me.

There's still a lot of people around here that have the misconception that exotic items are meant to be rare. They're mad because they are no longer unique. It's stupid. Other people enjoying the game shouldn't diminish your experience. And by the way, this is coming from someone who owns a thunderlord, one of the last guns left not sold by Xur. The first thing I though when I got it was I hope Xur sells it soon so others can enjoy it as much as I am.

Hasn't anyone else noticed that more and more people have an Ice Breaker? I see them running with randoms in the ROC all the time. It's really not even all that rare anymore.
