Anyone tried busting a groove yet in the crucible?

Wish I would've seen this a couple months ago! You pick a lot of this up just running through. However, the 'dance baby dance' part was new to me, so thanks for that :-)

This is good advice…… When I first started playing Destiny I tried the Crucible. I was killed time after time…generally before I could even get started. In one session, there was some guy that seemed to know my spawning pattern. He would kill me, wait for me to spawn, and then when I started out, kill me again. I was his ticket to success. I tried not to spawn, but that didn’t work. I tried to communicate with other players, but could not. I tried to stay with a teammate, and could not keep up. I was doomed to die. Then there was this guy booming in my ear, telling me how bad I was doing. He doesn’t think I know? Then he spurs me back to death. “Don’t give up!” Finally he adds insult to injury. He tells me to “Send them back to their mamas crying.” I am the one getting killed. My problems were many, but the primary one was that I though Destiny was a game. It is not. It is a job. It is a profession. It is serious. In spite of my deficiencies, no one ever messaged me not to play. I was often teamed with some very good players. My thanks to those players.

I like how someone else picked up on how useful orbs are. I run Radiance and Light Beyond Nemesis in team games, and I'm pretty much the dedicated orb dropper. Most of the friends I play with are Hunters, so they love it when I get a few kills in Radiance and generate enough orbs for about half their Golden Gun/Arc Blade. I play quite a bit of Rumble so my orbs gathered aren't the greatest, but I'm in the top 10 worldwide for orbs dropped. It really helps the team out, especially in Skirmish where you can get the quick revive boost off Light Beyond Nemesis as well.

This video is a lot more applicable in almost every situation then the last one. Very nice tips to. I just wish you hadn't informed people on how brutally over powering the orb system can be when playing with a team. Especially since the hunter class can get a super around 830 points ish depending. Once that train starts its game over for the next 2minutes or so and it happens to almost always be right around heavy spawn for the first time. Its gonna take them a while before they realize when to stop and not stop momentum by corner checking like that.

How is the IB for you?
