Am I GUARANTEED to get a Vex Mytloclast when I kill Atheon (Hard mode)?
I am planning to go raiding soon. Then try hard after. Just asking if the raid hard would be worth it when getting this beauty :P

yes you are go load up on heavy ammo synth make a post of only lvl 32s in recruitment have gjallerhorns ready to fire and then you will be own in in the crucible soon enough. nub

Nope. But you can't get it at all from normal. So if you want it, you've got no choice.

There is a tiny chance you'll get Vex from Atheon but that only becomes frustrating when you've got everything else you're after. The hard raid Primaries are worth the entrance cost alone (the cost is having to tolerate random assholes). Get raiding a.s.a.p. Worth mentioning you get double drops on Hard if you do it first. Any group worth its salt can carry a 29 through.

5 RepliesEdited by XiX GhOsTx XiX: 1/15/2015 10:55:09 PMNo. Some people have done it 15-20 times with no Vex Mythoclast. Edit: I'd suggest hitting 30 before trying to get into a group for the HM. Since it's so easy now to hit 31 most teams won't accept 29s anymore. And you have 0 raid completions, you need to do Normal mode a few times before you even think about jumping into Hard mode.
