Am I GUARANTEED to get a Vex Mytloclast when I kill Atheon (Hard mode)?
I am planning to go raiding soon. Then try hard after. Just asking if the raid hard would be worth it when getting this beauty :P

You have to owm all VOG weapons then have them in your inventory.

YOU specifically aren't guaranteed one it's a guaranteed chance that you can get it or someone else who is on your team can. If you do not understand what I said just reply.

Yes, similar to the crota rewards page, you must wait in the vault after killing Atheon until the rewards page comes up. You cannot leave or else you won't get the Mythoclast!

Got one on my first completion of it and then I got my second one on my third run of it.

There is a little know glitch but it's pretty long and honestly it's easier to just do Atheon each week for a 'chance'

LMAO!! Hell no. I know people here on the forums, and personally that have 30+ hard mode clears for the vault. And still don't have it. I got VERY lucky, joined at the Atheon checkpoint and 3 minutes later, got my Mythoclast on my first try.

Yes. You're guaranteed to get it. And if you don't get it the first time, you'll be cursed for the next 50 completions.

2 RepliesDude the Vex sucks compared to No Land Beyond. I dismantled my first Vex and stuck with my primary sniper.

I have 36 hard mode completions on VoG. No vex yet. Nothing is guaranteed

Lol, guaranteed... no you may be lucky to get it on your first try like some other players have but, it is RNG just like everything else.
