Iron banner is stupid
Actually getting extremely frustrated that as a level 32 a level 26 can do horrendous damage to me with a blue gun that has just over 100 damage? Honestly sort it out bungie. Thought "level advantages" were a thing haha wouldnt think it.

7 RepliesThe level advantages are barely noticeable in my opinion. I still get owned by lower level players who are better at the Crucible than me. My biggest complaint is that I have to start over at rank 0 each time because apparently resetting your progress is Bungie's way of giving us more content. I've already grinded to rank 5 twice in the last two months and now I feel obligated to do it again so I can get the hand cannon.

2 Repliesive noticed level 32's are harder to kill, this is coming from a level 31 using attack 331 weapons, you do have an advantage. I was put in a team with 4 level 20's,...I was a little unhappy with that ha....

17 RepliesThey shouldn't let anyone under 30 in period. I've see a level 2 in there (on my team of course). Plenty of low level 20s. It just ruins the experience. I though this was supposed to be the best of the best? (Minus trials of Osiris since that is never online)

You must not be too awesome in crucible then. The level advantages are very noticeable to be. Level 27 took way longer to try and kill me with a suros than it normally takes. I also survived a Nova bomb from a 24. I love iron banner. Way more fun than regular crucible

Here's a tip. Don't play iron banner as a 32 and think you are invincible. Play agressive against every encounter and you will start seeing those kills start stacking up

3 RepliesHaving looked at a few of your recent game it looks like pvp isn't your strong game. Therefore I don't think it has anything to do with blue guns.

1 ReplyYour accurate in saying this. However not for the sole reason you state. Iron Banner has second rate rewards no matter how you slice it, your rep gets reset every time it comes, good players still aren't rewarded or differentiated in anyway because you can simply grind it out for your rep and gear. Basically it is a slightly different take on crucible that I think has the idea of only the "Best" Guardians will be able to get this gear however that doesn't hold true due to being able to grind the playlist as well as 30-40% of players don't give a crap about Iron Banner cause they have awful rewards for the time spent.

This is from the second iron banner, I was nerdy and charted the graph bungie put out. They haven't said they've changed IB since, so add 2 to all the levels because I'm lazy and this is relevant. 1 ReplyPersonally I think the way IB is set up it bound to disappoint whether because the damage is not large enough to lower level characters or you believe the damage is too large of a gap. It should be set up on a "tier" system example being lvl30-32 battle against each other with lvl 32 vs 30 having a noticeable advantage. I'm not participating in this IB, the PVP system in Destiny needs a lot of work. I usually enjoy PVP over PVE but running to the exact areas on each match just isn't fun at this point.
