I'm assuming a lot of those negative responses are not [i]actually[/i] directed at bungie. They're hate should be hitting the real Criminal here, Activision. They push the game out too early, causing countless bugs, and a new, much shorter storyline that's not as good as we all expected. They had to discard of the good one because they had nowhere near even half the time they needed. So they're trying their absolute best to do what they can to make the community get rid of this type of wrongly directed hate. The DLC strikes as nightfall and weekly, that's activision. They're taking away what we love doing so you have to pay money to do it. And it pisses most of us off. The CE raid being so buggy was because it was just shoved out like a developing child out of a moving car. They played it right when they did the hard raid release after the normal. But I'll be damned if activision didn't want you to have to pay for the hard raid. And I'll be damned if they didn't want all the vanguard weapons/ crucible weapons to require the DLC. Cause that's what they do. They're money whores. I love that bungie was able to realize a fantastic world with this game. And nobody seems to appreciate how much actually went into the game. About the preloaded disk content: You're telling me, that while you have some extra time, it's wrong to start working on things for the future so you don't have to then? That's just flat out stupid. They were trying to get a head start on some area creation so they could save themselves time to improve the DLC itself instead of just leaving everything bad and buggy. So instead of putting out shit DLC after shit DLC, they make sure things get done before their 'timer' starts. So in summary: Bungie has done so much to make this the absolutely amazing game they envisioned it as. Activision needs to go. They have done nothing really amazing for any developers besides give them money to make it, shove their label on it, and destroy the games community with excessive DLC that's un-needed. Ex: every COD in recent years. Countless money grabs. DLC character skins, DLC weapon skins, weapons, maps, hell [i][b]GAME MODES[/b][/i]. And that's why I hope that bungie drops the destiny 2 release and saves it. For at least 5 more years. That way, they can put out a large amount of content, keep their community satisfied, and make this wonderful masterpiece of a game franchise one of the most successful of all time. All they have to do is find either a new publisher, or hell, self publish the game. I have more hope, and reasoning behind that hope for this company than any other company in any industry. I trust that they will make the right decision here.

It's influenced my opinion of them negatively only because of how much they said would be in the game and isn't and because of how much they keep changing the game like they released it too early.

I'm neutral. They wanted to create something they never done before, bring an mmo type shooter to consoles which I'm not sure has really been done before, while also delivering it to all consoles which they also haven't done before. I don't think they quite knew how to hit that mark they set for themselves, or had enough time to. With activison as the publisher I'm pretty certain they pushed to have the game drop when it did. The game is not perfect but there is clearly something here considering how upset everyone is but they continue to log hundreds of hours... Edit - a side note. I am a little dissapointed at their patching (or lack thereof) when it comes to bugs... But that's my only gripe.

Negative. I thought this was their most ambitious game. The story is near nonexistent. There is no explanation or closing of anything that is happening. Two key people left the company, and it seems they rushed the game out just to feed us like hungry dogs. You'd think they knew that a masterpiece takes time, and wouldn't rush it. The first dire move was having Activision of all companies, publish their game. I have no doubt in my mind Activision influenced them to mutilate the game and sell us small bits for money. Activision is the devil of publishers and they have Bungie under a spell. Also, Bungie lied to themselves when they said they were happy to be finally independent. Resorting to Activision? Independent, my arse.

Negative, have supported them since Halo 2. - various bugs in the game - i shouldn't need an app to view the games lore - i shouldn't need an app to view my stats - these load times are super long but the game actually isn't that big (ill give them the benefitbof the doubt for this one) - boy i wish I could pause -so my cousin basically cant play cause he doesn't dlc - so I wasted coins to buy a shard to upgrade my weapons damage only to have to re upgrade everything - so I wasted coins to buy a shard to upgrade my armors defense only to have to re upgrade everything - crucible loot system is dumb - you made one of the ascendant materials useless but I continue to get ut - yeah grinding for eris is really stupid. - so I have no reason to grind atheaons raid if the armor is essentially useless - I own the game for Xbone and can't even use content I paid for cause you guys let Activision run that deal with Sony. The exp. Pass and the game shoulda been cheaper on Xbone just cause that. I could do so much more but just won't
