Edited by Andersvandalen: 1/30/2015 5:47:28 AMTo be honest, bros, Destiny is amazing. I lived halo 2-Reach and the gameplay in Destiny managed to inherit some glorious halo-ish DNA. I believe in Bungie, the concept that is Destiny is amazing, but since the plan for the franchise is to be around for another 8+years they must realize that i cant spend several hundreds of dollars on a single game that i sometimes feel is a tad more work than fun. They need to up the ante on content released with each DLC/major installment but also be realistic with their pricing. The reason the forums are filled to the brim with "destiny sucks omg" threads etc. is simply because people LOVE the game and are, frankly speaking, scared that what is now, is it. Your game has so much potential, dear Bungie, and i sincerely hope that you feel the same way. Remember, Bungie, it takes time to build a good reputation, but very little to ruin it. Neutral. Destiny is in my opinion a bit worse than halo, but they're just starting up, and they deserve a chance to get in a rhythm. Still love this game tho, play my ass off.
-
Halo 3's story and dialogue destroyed my faith in Bungie. To War is the most stupid line I have ever heard.
-
Neutral. I was disappointed in Destiny. But if Bungie listens to the community, especially in regards to the lacking story, then I'd be interested in future installments. But I'm done after House of Wolves comes out. When the sequel drops, I might purchase a used copy at some point. I'm still kinda playing Destiny now, but that's going to change shortly. I'm getting a little burnt out, so I'm taking a break.

Yes, negatively. I was certain this game would have an amazing story. Halo was one of my favorite series and the story was great. There was so little story in destiny that I still wonder how they could have released it this way.

Every time something is wrong I just blame activision (even tho I know that's not the case)
-
Bungie was screwed when they choose a company who only cares about money nothing else
-
I personally think that Activision screwd bungie and destiny

Negative. I get there will always be complaints but I know in the professional world, for my chosen profession, if I presented a research project that although people know the result as well as the work out into it, if there are errors, I'd never get taken seriously. Or say I turned in a program to a software firm that worked right most of the time but there were key issues with it that I had to restart my computer several times to correct it, I'd be fired on the spot or laughed out of the office and building. Just saying, a halfassed project that works most of the time is still halfassed.

Destiny doesn't make me think less of Bungie. Bungie doesn't make me think more of Destiny. All the anger I have towards Bungie is not because of the game, but because of the way they've been handling the public around it. I feel like they're being intentionally ignorant, and incredibly secretive, for no real reason.

I have a full post about my reason.

And everyone hates halo and tells me to stop playing it so uh... I love Bungie
-
The first console game I played was Halo reach so... My opinion has been the same.

Edited by xnbkcbc: 2/28/2015 5:43:30 PMNever had an opinion in the first place. I judge games, not companies. There is no such thing as "brand loyalty" to me.
-
Negative. While there are some good changes, they are far out weighed by bad ones. They focus seemingly all their attention on pvp alone. Which would be fine if the majority of content was aimed at pvp (like Section 8 or MAG). On top of constant game breaks or server errors upon patches as well as a lot of poor or miscommunication, things have taken their toll and make me wonder how this company gave me what i consider to be one of the best games ever made. Guess ill wait and see HoW. See if my opinion changes then.
-
Negative. From the non existent story (which I don't have time to explain why I don't have to much time to explain) to the bland PvP, this just does not feel like the same company who developed Halo. I know there is some Activision influence here but, this "new" Bungie really dropped the ball. They are way to far along with HoW to truly turn this ship around but, if Comet does not knock my socks off, I think I'm done with Bungie games for awhile. So to any Bungie developers who may be reading this, you better really bring your "A" game on Comet otherwise me and the mouse in my pocket are leaving (aka. The Internet "We")

To me i think it was moslty activisons fault with this game because when halo droped it was bomb asf unique armor and colors. But now that activison is in the play there is a lot of issuse with money so they both need to drain anything they can out of the game for personal reasons . In conclusion i still think bungie is a very good game developer but they goofed when they brought activison on board
-
Neutral, but it has influenced my opinion on activision in a NEGATIVE way.
-
Negative. I really enjoyed Reach. Solid story mode, fun multiplayer. I hoped for something similar with Destiny, but am very disappointed with the lack of campaign.
-
Bungie never ask my questions.
-
Negative. This game was designed by Bungie, For Bungie. It became too obvious with the heavy ammo glitch problem.
-
Negative, Bungie should've stuck with Microsoft rather than Activision. Like were they on drugs and thought "Activision is a great company to be partnered with!"
