Since Halo I always liked Bungie am I think that Activision is also to blame
-
About the same. I like halo and I like destiny about the same. Did not play Halo much online back in the day
-
Not sure if it was activison or bungie who cut content from the game and repackaged it as DLC but it still pisses me off
-
I would say a bad way. They favor the playstation console by having them with the exclusive content for a entire year. Servers suck some BBC cause of lagging scrubs in the crucible. Auto rifles are pretty much useless in pve/pvp after the debuff The husk of the pit chain quest for that exotic hive auto rifle is pretty retarded. Overall waste of their money now. Its range is redicklious ly short even before the auto rifle debuff now its fully useless every where giant paper weight. One thing i would say would be cool is item trade but limitations added such as misc items such as armor shards of class type to upgrade material. An maybe even weapons and armor but not exotics only things you can get from the vender. Like legendary All so new use for commendation marks allow the use of them with the vender of the reputation of 4 or higher to re roll a weapons perks but it has to be of that faction. Say i have a "up for anything" auto rifle. So i would need vanguard rep lv 4 You have us the players play but only time we can try roll for perks we would like is once a month. In order to reroll the stats i would need mark of commendation. Or the use of the orbs of light like with the iron banner. Could all so be a improvement if you changed the weapons all the normal venders have switch it up weekly on the reset the factions like crucible new monarchy dead orbit future war-cult randomize the weapons and perks. I find it pretty lame the same weapons and perks all the time

Destiny is the first game I've seen in a while to try and do something different and unique, and in that sense Bungie definitely succeeded in doing so. I hope to see other companies take a step into the unknown with other unique games. Not more Call of Duty sequels that are basically reskins of older games.
-
Yes and not in a positive way. I feel mostly letdown and disappointed. The game itself is entertaining to an extent and serves its intended function but the final product I received was nothing like they made it out to be. As it stands now, it's highly doubtful I'll be getting Destiny 2. Furthermore, I'll be sure to be extremely cautious about future Bungie titles regardless of the genre -- fool me once and all that.
-
I enjoy destiny but there are a lot of bugs
-
Still not sure if it is Bungie or Activision creating this issue. I hear about Destiny 2, yet we were told years of content for the first one. Personally I feel this is more of Activisions money hungry talons causing all these problems, and as long as COD fanboys keep buying their garbage they have no reason to change how they operate. companies have forgotten, the consumer is not here for the business, it should be vice versa. Won't make a difference, but if this destiny turd doesn't get a little polish, I will not buy anymore games with Activisions name on it.
-
Only way this gonna last 10 yrs is if they don't make the same mistakes twice. Big chAnges are needed to keep this game relevant and worth playing. I admit I am excited for HoW but after that it's going to take a lot to get me thinking about Comet.

This game has made me feel bad For bungie, the reason this game is in its current situation is because of activisions corporate greed. I'm sure that the all of the cut content is because activision wanted to make more money in dlc. So this is a bad situation for bungie and not their fault.
-
I didn't play halo. I had no clue about this company before this game. When I started paying attention to bungie I immediately thought 'jeeze what a bunch of dicks' because of their obvious attitude that they were the best thing that ever happened to gaming. Then they released this game.. Graphics, controllability, options, all top notch. But splitting this game up into sections only to make us repeat the same content over and over until we all want to throw up ... To me that was a Dick move and I'm so tired of destiny right now that I won't play all week. Can't. I've done it all so much that it's not fun anymore. I have gotten my money's worth for sure. But damn is it old news.

Edited by Abyssal Shift: 3/27/2015 4:00:17 AMNegatively. I feel as if they bitten off more than they can chew and they are now scrambling to get off a sinking ship. It is a new IP and I can accept some trips along the way. But what bothers me is how they are handling it. They waste no time in fxing problems that benefit the players like cheeses, but take forever to come up with a fix for the things that hurt us, and when they do roll out a fix it is usually bittersweet. I don't know why they feel the need to force us to play their way, either.
-
Easy. Bungie made amazing things out of Halo and achieved milestones that game industries dream to reach. (Haha, get it. Reach?) Destiny was supposed to be good, better than everything and it was going to be. Yet, it was not, hence, I am thinking less of Bungie after this happened.

I don't know how I feel. They keep tugging the strings of my emotions.
-
I've played Halo but I think most of the problems are Activision's fault. Bungie shares the blame but they shouldn't have partnered with Activision.

Edited by Thee-Unforgiver: 3/24/2015 6:12:17 PMNever played halo , but thought destiny was going to be awesome after the beta . How wrong was i so much potential lost on poor decisions and the pvp is a joke

Good Post. It has definately negatively impacted my opinion on Bungie for sure. I'll never look at them the same again. Destiny wasn't an epic failure, but was tremendously under-whelming given all the hype and build up. I will never pre-order a game made by Bungie again.
-
It has, however I've explained numerous times my disappointment with the game and many pay little head to my posts. So people just don't care. This game punishes those who work hard and rewards only the lucky. Merits no skill really. None... Patches don't fix broken games, not fully. What happened Bungie? Justin
-
Very negative. Sure, I've put a lot of time into Destiny, but there weren't/aren't many games to play. Nothing that's enjoyable long term. There are too many mistakes made while creating this game. Everything from glitches to PR/social media. While Bungie isn't responsible for everything, I just won't be participating in the future. I won't continue to waste anymore time and money on their games.
-
No. Bungie's lack of support for Destiny has ruined my view of bungie. I mean, no raid matchmaking....wtf.
-
Edited by Tinny Ace: 3/23/2015 9:13:29 PMSadly negative. I don't play destiny anymore and the reason is because of the first dlc that was released. Long story short I played from launch up to the release of the dark below. In that time I acquired 20 exotics and level 30 on all three of my characters. Then the dlc comes out and all of my exoctics are now sub par exotics. All the gear that I ground(?) for was now usurped by gear that could be bought from vendors. Yes I had a great time with friends and a great experience(even with buggy atheon) but they took all the reward from those experiences and made it worthless. Now I will not be preordering the next destiny and my view of bungie is tainted. I could go into more but the post would become so long that it would almost be unreadable.

I've never liked Bungie. I love halo but I hate Bungie as a company lol.
