You guys faulted to Activision...

William Wallace: Aye, fight and you may die. Run, and you'll live... at least a while. And dying in your beds, many years from now, would you be willin' to trade ALL the days, from this day to that, for one chance, just one chance, to come back here and tell our enemies that they may take our lives, but they'll never take.... OUR FREEDOM!!! *is tapped on the shoulder, man whispers in Wallace's ear. Dumbfounded and astonished he pulls back to look the man directly in the eyes and says in disbelief, "No?!?" The man nods. Wallace turns to the army before him, defeated and sullen he confesses, "Nevermind, go home and live. They never coded Freedom into the game in the first place." His shoulders droop as he mutters, "I can't believe I bought into the hype...."

Negative. Patches are constant fluff, balancing is anything but, 500 mil went nowhere except false advertising, and they don't give a blam to respond on their own forums.
-
It's clear, they only want to prolong the use of the game. However possible. They fix cheeses in a couple of weeks, but won't address certain issues paying customers want changed, and they've had since release to do so. Easy to see their priorities. They have our money.

F u c k bungie and f u c k Deej.....

all negative, lies upon lies. ever read DeeJs posts !?!?

My feelings about the game are like a lot of other gamers, but more recently I've noticed this so I'm going to focus on a particular issue. In Destiny, i see a lot of brilliant ideas, polished mechanics and a visually stunning and detailed worlds, and you can sort of ‘feel’ what Destiny wants to be, or what it should have been – I can’t put my finger on it but it feels like “ah, this is it.” The game resembles pretty closely what the concept artist created for the game which tells us that the art directors and creative directors of the game loved the artist’s vision of the game. When you go to the Guardian Outfitter in the Tower and you see how dishevelled the vendor is – unorganized shelves with scattered armour, floor tiles overlapping, dim lit corner – you get a sense that this place has seen and outfitted thousands of Guardians over countless years. We’ve seen Queen’s Emissary in the Tower – there is a long table with the Queen’s royal tapestry and smoke blowing in the wind, the ship hovering frozen behind the emissary, it conveys a sense of awe. The Iron Banner displays a giant flame covered emblem behind Lord Saladin, there are crates with armour, it feels like an event that has been put on to showcase this great competition. Then there’s Eris Morn – no table, nothing, just a ship behind her. She’s the sole survivor of a six-guardian fire team that entered the Hellmouth hunting Crota in his domain. She had her light stripped away from her giving her this desolate appearance. She survived for countless cycles and came back with valuable information that could aid in defeating the Hive. This is a race of light devouring creatures that slaughtered thousands of Guardians on the moon in “The Great Disaster” and they won’t even give her a damn table to display some armour she has for you. She needs a place in the Tower where she can display some crazy Hive illustrations or weapons she was able to bring back – it just doesn’t feel like they’ve put any effort into this character’s addition to the Tower in a visual sense. With the visual detail they apply to everything else in the game, this lack of consideration feels so out of place. It feels like oh hey, let’s just put her beside where people spawn in because it’s close.

I like Destiny, I really do, and I like Bungie as well, but I'm starting to get annoyed that they're doing little to nothing about addressing all the stuff people want them to fix. Even just a "Hey, we're working on a lot of the stuff you all have mentioned, but it will take a while." would be preferable to the BS they've been giving to us for a while. I really do like both Bungie and Destiny, but Destiny could be sooo much better and if they are working to fix the busted parts in the game that everyone has been complaining about, then they certainly are being quiet about most of it and I really don't like it when a company does that. At E3 Bungie showed us a different game, I get that stuff changes but good lord, change simply for the sake of it is no positive thing.

Bungie patches ALL cheese tactics as soon as they can find them but anything that actually hinders the players stays in the game forever and a day. I lose more faith in the dream everyday.
No right or wrong answer or reason. Please explain your answer whichever it might be because it is very interesting to see... If your reading this again feel free to comment again if you left something out or changed your mind after reading other posts.
Negatively. It feels really cheap and dirty that the crucible is deliberately watered down just so that it doesn't compete with COD. Also, everything that can be said about the locking out of content has been echoed a hundred times over.

Only negative to me is that they don't "talk" to us, like have a weekly open letter or whatever or don't fully do updates to my liking (they keep telling us about other players for entire updates).
-
This game really disappointed me, i accepted more from the company that gave me halo :,(
-
Halo was brilliant it had an amazing story arc amazing characters and great gameplay then they decided to make a even better game destiny then the -blam!-s take everything out of destiny to sell as dlc and basically milk us for our money and hand us shitty as dlc for a shitty as game
-
Bungie should be considered a burnt brand after the vile touch by Activision. This scam cant go on for 10 years
-
I voted negative because of the fact that the E3 2013 trailer showed a vastly superior game to the one we got in September
-
Just so you all know, it's not just bungie. Just because bungie hosts the website doesn't mean it's all there fault. They're bound by a contract with one of the worst publishers known. Activision. Anyone who knows them knows how they put money before community.

I'm mostly annoyed because of the false advertising that was made pre-launch. Also, a weak campaign, a (in my opinion) TERRIBLE loot/leveling system (post level 20), and so few activities in PvP made the game live up to nothing like what I though this game would be. Honestly, I was most looking forward to the "Explore" game mode, and was super excited when I first unlocked it. Finding random quests, unexpected bosses, all with a group of friends met while exploring: that was my vision for what I would be doing in Destiny. Obviously I was sorely disappointed after those expectations. Because of the massive disappointment from this game, and lack of MAJOR change or acknowledgement to/for the game on Bungie's part is what has now given it the new reputation of an untrustworthy and lying company. From here on out, I will wait at least a week or two before even CONSIDERING whether the game will be good or not, as it is clear the advertising does not show the true game.

I loved halo. I love destiny. I love bungie. Activist on can suck it.
-
Very negative. Destiny is a beta at best. Still waiting for all that content they promised.
-
The Bungie I loved died after it left Microsoft, lots of new people involved now, and none of them are any good. -blam!- this new Bungie, and -blam!- its basturd cousin 343. R.I.P. old Bungie, you will be missed.
-
I'll wait for reviews and friends recommendations before I buy another bungie title.

Went from hero to zero

Edited by WesGordon: 2/6/2015 3:42:53 PMThe whole play the way you want to play then forcing us to play how they want us to play. The immediate attention to glitches or cheeses that make life a little easier for the player but zero attention to the ones that make it more difficult. ( oracles can't get destroyed by relic, sword disappearing, Crota just standing hanging out with ZERO shield.) these are just a few examples. And then we have the heavy ammo problem. They say they're working on it, cool. But at least make the mother -blam!-ers affordable. I refuse to spend half my week grinding solely for glimmer for heavy. Screw that. I really loved this game. But BUNGIE is causing me to dislike it and them alike
-
Can't base your opinion on a game that has been out for 5 months.

666th comment. Muhahahaha.

They lied to us about the game. Very disappointed, had potential
