This image is real. The owner is an actual Bungie game developer who works on Destiny.
Take a very close look at that desk. It's a god damn mess. This desk speaks volumes about the people who develop for Destiny and the current state of Destiny itself. No wonder why Destiny is riddled with bugs, glitches, and relies heavily on recycled content.

1 ReplyEinstein was a genius and apparently a bit messy. Theory of relativity debunked!

Edited by Sithisvoid666: 1/15/2015 6:20:12 PMLmfao even he is too busy playing dragon age. Also read the caption where he said he "cleaned up his desk a bit" hahaha this is clean?
-
I would just like to point out the light above the desk. Ya. That is all. Clearly not bungie and is a troll. Bungie vidocs prove this wrong immediately. Anyone who has been to bungie knows this is wrong. You're dumb.
-
I think you are being a judgemental douche to be honest. To me it seems like he didn't have time to leave the desk because he was busy patching CE, therefore he had to eat and work at the same time :P
-
The -blam!-ing guy is probably living in his office to improve this game......jesus christ. You ever make anything on the scale of Destiny? You can blame suits at Activision or management of bungie, but these guys coding work hard as hell. Chill out.

Edited by Aprovoked_Mango: 1/15/2015 10:52:46 AMPretty much all artists/designers I know have a messy workspace. Seeing at times you have to practically live at the desk and are too busy working on something, you dont give a shit about a crisp packet that didnt make it to the bin straight away. Plus some like to clean their desk at the end of a project, like a symbolic gesture of now theyre finished and can start a new. Oh and having toys and models etc is standard for any designers desk. Got to have something to do in an art block. Reminds me if the saying " a cluttered desk shows a cluttered mind, so what does an empty desk show?" Edit: maybe the fork is a clue to new weapon types haha

2 RepliesA cluttered desk is a sign of a cluttered mind. So what sign is an empty desk?

2 RepliesYou, Sir, are VERY unintelligent judging by this post. Your Smart Card has been confiscated, by myself, and cannot be regained. Natural selection shall surely cause your demise. Please, I beg of you, do not leave the safety of your mother's basement and reproduce. The world has too much ignorance as it is. Please go directly to Fergusson with the rest of the people who know nothing about what they speak. Loot some stores, preferably with armed owners, and let natural selection take its course. Sincerely, Cr1ms0nFck3r

What's the problem?
-
the reality is, this where all the fabricated world get developed and players boast about of achieving something or having something - all virtual
-
1 ReplyI have.... SO many problems with Destiny right now that I can't even -blam!-ing count them. But I still don't think it's fair to judge the games problems by ONE guy's desk... that doesn't mean much.
-
4 RepliesThere is a -blam!-ing fork on it...
-
You sure it's his work station? Looks like it's his home (hint: there's a chandelier)
-
Come on. You seriously cannot mean that we should evaluate a worker solely by the state of his workstation? For all we know, this is the genius who designed the gunplay. Or one of the people on the VoG team. Some of the most brilliant, extraordinary people to ever have lived also had the worst, messiest personal lives.
-
Being a developer I can relate to this, my desk is always a mess, has nothing to do with my work output though geeez
-
Doesnt really look that messy, honestly.
-
Edited by unif1end: 1/15/2015 10:27:32 AMI'd rather it be a mess, means that they're spending a lot of time working at that desk.
-
Look at you random fork. ... lol
-
1 ReplyHmmm.... I can't seem to spot the rubbish bin where they threw the original storyline.
am I blind?
-
2 RepliesA great many creatives and geniuses are untidy people. Who has time to tidy when you're busy being brilliant?! I know I don't!
-
2 RepliesEdited by ChairmanPaul: 1/15/2015 9:40:57 AMI really hope you just forgot the satire tag. Help us all if you're really stretching shit that much to try to make some kind of judgement on a game others really do enjoy. Sorry you're way too smart and clever to have ever allowed any kind of mistake in your perfect game that somehow you haven't managed to bless the world with yet. I'll wait your perfectly polished game and in the meantime try to realize that a good number of readers aren't going to take your childish attempt to poke at bungie as funny but will see you as a sad sad guy that's over clinging to his own alleged cleverness
-
Well you can't judge a whole company based on one employees desk XD Have to admit, I laughed at the fork on the table.
-
People have different personalities.
-
1 ReplyThe condition of this desk is not unusual. A lot of the time, game developers work 24-48 hours straight. Instead of bashing them for being too busy to worry about cleaning up their workstation, maybe a 'thank you' is in order.
-
One question.. Why the goggles??
