Sooo how many 32s who've never done Crota legit have you run in to?
It's mind blowing and annoying AF.
I have a 32 warlock and soon a 32 Hunter.. I'm not saying they're all shit.. But we got to Crota and the guy got, maybe, 3 hits on Crota in two swords(not sword bearers), then he's like "ogres guise!!"
Dps on Crota was perfect guys and boomers were taken care of. I'm not being an ass just because.

Finished my Crota raids for the week.. Last run 2 32 Hunter and my 32 warlock.. "Okay guys, hunters are best for the sword, you guys know how to use it, right?" Crickets. I killed Crota with my broken ass glide lol

I'm a 32 and meet these circumstances slightly, but I need my team to communicate with me. I have to perfectly look at crota for five seconds to see his health so I need my team to tell me when the shield is at 10 percent but they say "GO" after crota is down. I've done crota legit five teams and all five of them someone has to ask the team to help the sword user.

3 Replies5 last night. They couldn't get passed the bridge. I offered to teach them, they didn't want to learn. Kept trying to despawn enemies and snipe across. It was awful.

Done it first week and I can't find my glorious raid group. Everything else everyone wanted cheese.

My group has only ever done it legit and this kind of thing is why. It benefits no one to cheese through the raid.

1 ReplyI ran through a group who literally never did any part of the raid legit yesterday; I had to explain every single part of it to them and after and hour and half to get to Crota the team fell apart in 3-4 attempts. Funny part: the LFG posting I joined on to said "Legit Experience Only" Finally found another group and downed Crota on the first try. Honestly, as odd as it is to say I miss the cheese; at least when sh*tty players were cheesing you knew you could find a decent group if they were only looking for legit, now with all these players who have no idea what they are doing being released into the wild it makes it a lot harder to find a group that knows what they are doing....

Busted that ass all 3 times legit on Tuesday. Even got to hold the sword for one of them which was pretty exciting.

3 RepliesWhat annoys me running the sword is when at the beginning everyone uses synthesis and has rockets and I'm running up and I say "down him" and I see a million rockets fly through the air... Like wtf?! Then everyone runs out of rockets after the second down.. Come on people.

3 RepliesThe sad thing is that our raid group can kill Crota legitimately faster than it takes to get Crota kneeling, yank the chord, reconnect, load up destiny servers, load up Crota's end, and kill him. To me it was always sad that people had to resort to cheating when the fight only takes good timing and coordination.

6 RepliesOur clan have never cheesed crota. We never found the fight that difficult. I'll admit, we did cheese the bridge a few times.

6 RepliesNever, because I have a core group of 5 other guys that I raid with every Tuesday and we only take one or two people through that don't know fights on our alt runs, and we teach them as we go. We have one core sword guy, and I'm the secondary sword guy, so we are never in a position where a scrub holds it . With a group like that it makes it easy to do 3 raids in under two hours even with running our friends through that have never done it. Crota is easily two manned with two 32s so you really could just save those check points and bring in 4 randoms and just have them sit in the room with the crystal while the two good people take out Crota. Free loot and you did your good deed for the day.

If you do enough damage to Crota then Ogres can come after 1 sword. Best way to tell is to watch the boomer towers, if Thralls jump out of them then its Ogres.
