After reading that article while watching Saw I have a few ideas for that woman suing them.
-
That woman needs to be put in a soundproof cell so nobody can hear her disgusting sounds that she calls "her voice"
-
2 RepliesFacebook page that supports the woman suing. I do not "officially" condone internet vigilantism.

4 RepliesEdited by Guardian2798: 6/29/2015 2:42:17 PMJournalism at it's finest... They neglected to mention that this was a countersuit against the family for their 1.4 million dollar lawsuit against her, despite her being cleared of any criminal liability on the matter. According to her lawyer, this countersuit it to protect her from going bankrupt from the family's suit. Also even though the article loves to mention that no breathalyzer test was taken, that doesn't mean that she had to have been drunk. It just means that it can be proven one way or the other. I'm not saying that shes a saint and 100% in the right or anything. I'm just saying that this story isn't as black and white as people are being led to beleive it is.

16 Repliesthat's literally the STUPIDEST thing i've heard in my entire life. not even manslaugher charges? her husband being a cop has something to do with that.
-
If you think your "emotional trauma" is bad, see the parents of the dead boy. See if they give a -blam!- about you and your husband, who were clearly drunk. You don't even help up the child or anything. This is another example of police being corrupt and the justice system being flawed. I want her to realize she is a -blam!-ing asshole before she takes 2 things from a family.

Run over my kid and I'll skin your family alive in front of you and save you for last
-
So she wasn't charged because she was married to one of the police officers on the scene?
-
If it'd been one of my hatchlings, I'd have peeled her spinal cord out of her from the bottom up. The human judicial system is a bad joke.

A police report states the couple was heading to their nearby Innisfil home after having a drink at a bar. Sharlene Simon told police she was driving 90 km/h in an 80 km/h zone and didn’t see the boys. In a statement of claim filed with the court last April, Simon is claiming $1.35 million in damages due to her psychological suffering, including depression, anxiety, irritability and post-traumatic stress. She blames the boys for negligence. “They did not apply their brakes properly,” the claim states. “They were incompetent bicyclists.” None of the allegations in the suit have been proven in court.
I'm no lawyer, but I see DWI's for both the killer and her husband, and also speeding. Assuming that there was a bicycle lane, I would bet that witnesses would agree that the bicyclers were inside the bike lane, meaning that would probably also be a charge of reckless driving on only the killer. And then, of course, manslaughter. But what bothers me most is that it never said she was arrested for any of those. That disgusts me.
