Sounds like this guy took a Logic class. Agnostics "believe" that God's existence is unknowable. But by the very foundation of logic, what is considered God is certainly knowable. Agnostics get lumped into Skeptics and Skeptics are considered to be the bane of Knowledge and Truth. If we are unable to arrive at True Knowledge, then nothing would matter and we would have nothing to argue about, ever.

  • However you reason it, the cat in the box is neither dead or alive. Stabbing blindly into the box because you decided it was dead then claim you believe that it was neither alive or dead is stupidity

  • A cat in the box is certainly either dead or alive. The box skews our vision, but there are certainly ways to find out if the cat is either dead or alive. You're thinking of particle physics. I'm talking about knowing Truth. And not like, you know... God is the best dude out there type of Truth. I mean like, is it possible to know what is true and what is not true? And to that, I say it's absolutely possible. I ask these simple questions: Is everything finite and nothing infinite? Or are some things finite and some things infinite? Answer one of these two questions with confidence and you have arrived at weather you are atheist or a theist. Easy stuff bros.

  • Pi is infinite. Are you saying I can't believe that Pi exists and be an atheist?

I'm saying that if something is infinite, then that something must be God, or have God-like qualities. Pi can be God. So you did it buddy. You found out your answer. You actually do believe in God or something that is God like. Because the question you should have asked before "does God exist," is "What is God?" You can't begin to answer if God exists without defining God first. And no, I do not believe that the way God is described in Christian texts is the definition of God. God isn't a person. We are people and people are not gods. Well, sometimes I'm a God when I get a sweet kill streak in crucible. Jk. Hey man, I hope you enjoy this debate because I think it's a real hoot and a holler. I hope you don't find me to be disrespectful. But I can tell you're an intelligent person and I like the witty banter. This forum has the craziest topics.

Haha good one. Although I have to respectfully disagree since I am in fact a Chrisitian and would like to point out that we do not worship a man but a Omnipotent spirit who sent his son into the flesh of man and by his blood we are saved. Everything else I would not argue with like what you define God to be or how you define it. It would be a stalemate or losing battle.
