why tf should I have to regrind ib armor since I own it already.
Ok this is what is pissing me off about iron banner. I have the chest piece from first ib and grabbed the legs and arms from 2nd one. Skipped the third because I got pissed that I couldn't upgrade armor I Already had. Skipping 4th because I'm tired of this broken system.
Why do I have to regrind for the same crap I already own. It's should be like a trade in value u pay with glimmer half of what u payed for to get the upgraded armor.
But of course bungie won't do that because they want to keep people running like hamsters.
Same goes for guns I own it already why should I keep grinding for a "upgraded" gun I already own.
I say it once and I will say it again they should of kept the ranks because getting glimmer is hard as it is or hey make it with crucible marks.

2 RepliesI submit this post as Exhibit A in a fundamental misunderstanding of how Destiny economies work. Not saying they [i]won't ever [/i]change, but where's the incentive to keep playing otherwise? Besides, they're only legendaries. I'd leave the big upgrades (like to 331) to the more, erm, exotic content.

You are licences to use their product.You payed for a electronic licence agreement and or a physical disk. The content belongs to Bungie and they can pretty much do whatever they want with it. Life is not fair. Deal with it.

Yeah. Why do i even have to level up at all. When I buy the game I should already be level 32. I hate having to play a game to get more. I already played why do I have to play more? I should just be able to do whatever I want.

I have the arms and boots and agree why should I have to regrind for hours to get the same exact armor with only a different light level. Maybe Bungie will see this but they seem to detached to act upon it.

You don't already own this gear. You own a 2008 Honda Accord. That's not the same as a 2015. These are the same model but one is newer with better stats.

3 RepliesThis game has MMO "aspects". Most MMO's require you to REPLACE the old with the NEW. Hence the lack of upgrading old into the new. Fortunately, Bungie allowed us to upgrade Exotics, but the rest should be non-upgradable to new levels. Upgrading allows players to level way too quick and takes the work out. If you are not liking the model, then this would be a great time to bail on the game.
