What is the best legendary 331 hand cannon available?
I'd like to get a hand cannon sometime soon. But not really sure what it's going to be. Ranking up to Iron Banner rank 5 doesn't really sound appealing right now to get Timur's Lash.
If you have a legendary hand cannon upgradable to 331, let me know what you think of it. If you have Timur's lash, also let me know what abilities you re-rolled for and how you like it.
Any opinions appreciated.
Edit: well thanks for all the input guys. Looks like I'll be continuing to hope for fatebringer, but hopefully the New Monarchy hand cannon. Looks like I'll be attempting to rank them up as much as possible. If you have Red Hand IX, lemme know how quick you got it.
Edit 2: Overwhelmingly it's Red Hand IX. Hopefully I get one from a package soon. If I do, I'll try to remember and post here what perks it has.

It one-shot everything except for Praetorians and Yellow Harpies in the Vault of Glass, including yellow enemies if you activated crowd control before hitting them.

1 ReplyRank your vanguard and crucible up, and try to get one as a reward. the reward version have a chance to have good perks. Explosive rounds and field scout are what you want.

I have 2 of the faction and one vanguard, and EASILY the BEST HC I have is The Devil You Don't as long as you get it to drop with field scout. Field scout buffs the clip up to 13 rounds, 331 base damage, crowd control, and clown cartridge. Clown doesn't activate enough to be worth it, and honestly if it had anything in that slot it would be even more deadly, but as it stands now I use it almost more than fatebringer. If fatebringer was maxed up to 331 it would be my favorite but that damage difference makes a huge difference in the end of Crota's End when enemy levels are 32.

Well the best current one you can buy is tfwpky. It's not worth discussing red hand or the dead orbit one because the stats are random. Fatebringer doesn't go to 331. Though if you wait till hard mode for crotas end you can try and nab the word of crota. Void hand cannon with some great perks. Probably the best 331 hand cannon that exists currently.

Got Red Hand IX from random drop. Great gun with explosive rounds and 10 shots.

The Chance is a great Handcannon. Grenadier is noticeable and Field Scout really helps it out.

You're not guaranteed to ever get them, and even if you do get them, the perks could be crap. Just grab a vendor handcannon, of which the Chance is by far the best now that it comes with FS. Also, red hand is a pretty bad handcannon stat wise since a lot of its base stats are lower to compensate for its high stability, which is probably one of the least useful stats for slow firing handcannons.

If I'm not using hawkmoon then I use red hand IX, rank up NM or get lucky, lacks range is the only negative, mine holds 13-16 rounds with clown cartridge!
