Iron Banner is Living proof that the Crota-cheat hurt PvP
So I played IB yesterday a fair amount (20+ games) and come to the Conclusion that most 32s you will come across in IB are people who exploited the hell out of Crota`s End.
I also feel that the Leveladvantage between 32 and 31 is real, anybody that has enough crucible experience under their belt will agree to that fact. You need on average at least one more shot to get in than your opponent who has the Leveladvantage.
The sheer number of Exploiters is really annoying. You get almost 50% of 32s in the Lobby and this number will rise on the weekend. I urge any below 30s to stay away from IB, for the sake of their mental healthiness.
How come I can tell that most 32`s are Cheaters?
From the 25 people I looked up that showed unregular performance (meaning why they have on average between 0.8-1.2 in Crucible they managed to almost double that kd in the games with/against me, only 4 had completed the patched Raid at all, while their stats showed that the week before they had multiple clears with multiple groups with the typical sign that they used Giveawaycheckpoints and the DC (everyone in the team around 20 kills etc.).
Does anybody, especially 30s and 31s have a similar/contradictory experience?
EDIT 1: Funny how the 32s-Cheatfaction is entering this thread and defending its "honor". Most negative comments are of the type:
"You stupid if you thinky thinky all 32 are cheaters"
Then when I reply:
"You stupid for thinky thinky your stats could hide your true colors"
They reply
"You butthurt for looking at stats"
Just keep coming and confirming to all that you are not only bad at the game, but also bad in covering your tracks.

32 vs 31 doesn't make much difference. How leveled YPUR weapons are makes a big difference

Most people will be playing at a higher skill lvl now than what your kd shows.it means they have gotten better at the game as three game as they lvl'd up while he is expect. And of course they will do even better playing IB being a 32. It's just the way all of this works...

I agree that it isn't fun to face against a cheeser, but my level 27 still has had a fighting chance in all games i've played in IB. You can look at my scores, I always got second or third in my team for the last few games.

Weapon attack and Armor defense are also active in IB, and they are not in Crucible. If you're having that much trouble bringing down someone who is only ONE level higher than you, then its either because you need to max out your weapons...or THEY are speced for armor rather than agility (like most regular crucible players). 3. You have NO idea who "cheated" their way to level 32, and who didnt'. You're just assuming that most of them did, to try to soothe a battered ego. 4. My overall KD is 0.78. Its that way because I SELDOM play PvP unless its Iron Banner, AND that number reflects a LOT of poor performances while I was learning how to play in the Crucible. But if you check MY profile, you'll see that I've thrown down games with KDs as high as FOUR....but also mixed in with rounds with KD s of 0.5. Depending on how well the team I'm put in with is playing. But I'll regularly put down games of 1.5-2.5 when I'm playing well, and playing on maps that I know well. Bottomline, Is you are playing poorly and are looking for someone....something....to blame. Look in the mirror.

If they're not skilled enough to kill Crota legit, they shouldn't be skilled enough to kill you in PvP, level advantage or no.

Why are you complaining? Not to mention that you probably couldn't even do Vog and bought the vanguard armor.

How about you just let the people play the game how they want to. They bought it. If they want to cheese the raid, that is their decision. You don't have to be so butthurt about it or anything. If you disagree with their way of playing, keep it to yourself. There is no reason to post it on the forums unless you just need a self esteem boost or something.

Who cares? The raid isn't hard with or without cheese. And even patched there are still cheeses and there will be for every game until the end of time. Welcome to the modern world of gaming with Internet access.

the people with the best guns... the people who hook up with friends and play IB together communicating through party chat... the people who always do well (unless they normally use one of the special blue weapons) These are the people who'll have good K/D's from Iron banner... Fortunately you only need to win rounds and do bounties to rank up :/

I've never cheesed the raid except for the bridge a couple of times due to random groups and my k/d balloons somewhat in IB mainly due to me actually using my best PvP weapons and 100% focusing. I've played this game almost since release and just hit rank 1 yesterday in crucible lvl but yet Ive got too lvl 5 IB twice and this will be a 3rd time. Your "fact" checking doesn't apply to everyone

I'm 32 I did the raid legit multiple times. I did it with my group day 1 without any help at all. We even came up with our own strategies (which are pretty much the same everyone uses) to beat the raid. However, I've also cheesed aswell. Why would I spend the time doing the bridge and killing Crota when I can do both in less than 10 minutes.

Won four straight this morning against level 32s using my 31 titan. The level advantage is not apparent to me. Opinion obviously, but I am not experiencing the same thing.

5 RepliesBetween all three characters, you've only managed to get an average of 11 kills per game. You're highest K/D among all three is 1.13. Did you ever think that maybe it was just you and not the "level advantage" (which between 31 and 32 is negligible)? I'm not saying I'm the strongest player in the Crucible, but I'm also not creating threads blaming other people for poor performance.

Sounds like a lot of research to discover reasons/excuses for losing. You could've spent that time playing and getting better, or just stay out of the Iron Banner and play regular Crucible where it's balanced and fair to all levels
