So I played IB yesterday a fair amount (20+ games) and come to the Conclusion that most 32s you will come across in IB are people who exploited the hell out of Crota`s End.
I also feel that the Leveladvantage between 32 and 31 is real, anybody that has enough crucible experience under their belt will agree to that fact. You need on average at least one more shot to get in than your opponent who has the Leveladvantage.
The sheer number of Exploiters is really annoying. You get almost 50% of 32s in the Lobby and this number will rise on the weekend. I urge any below 30s to stay away from IB, for the sake of their mental healthiness.
How come I can tell that most 32`s are Cheaters?
From the 25 people I looked up that showed unregular performance (meaning why they have on average between 0.8-1.2 in Crucible they managed to almost double that kd in the games with/against me, only 4 had completed the patched Raid at all, while their stats showed that the week before they had multiple clears with multiple groups with the typical sign that they used Giveawaycheckpoints and the DC (everyone in the team around 20 kills etc.).
Does anybody, especially 30s and 31s have a similar/contradictory experience?
EDIT 1: Funny how the 32s-Cheatfaction is entering this thread and defending its "honor". Most negative comments are of the type:
"You stupid if you thinky thinky all 32 are cheaters"
Then when I reply:
"You stupid for thinky thinky your stats could hide your true colors"
They reply
"You butthurt for looking at stats"
Just keep coming and confirming to all that you are not only bad at the game, but also bad in covering your tracks.

I love it when I see a level 32 in iron banner do worst than level 30's. There are good and bad level 32's, just like there were good and bad level 30's when the level 30 guantlets/boots were sold.

How does crucible skill correlate to pve/raid skill? AI is predictable for the most part Humans aren't It's not the same game at all. I know good crucible players who can't raid well and good raiders who can't do pvp.
-
Hahaha, this thread is bad and you should feel bad
-
some people don't finish the raid but come back days late and finish from where they left off. I don't see the harm in using an exploit. I have more of a problem w people that mod or use intentional lag to cheat in pvp. cheating pve is one thing b/c it's an ai npc but cheating against other players is deplorable.

1 ReplyEdited by WhiteSun: 1/20/2015 12:23:51 AMOh yeah because I love when a lvl 27 comes to iron banner and starts to lag switch or do something to give himself an advantage and kill everyone in the lobby and then start to tea bag as if he is the king of the match , or when a lvl 24 easily kills a lvl 31 or 32 with a green auto rifle this iron banner had something fishy in it , probably gave the crucible buff to lower lvls or something like that

17 RepliesSorry but I found that the iron banner is broken already. Play for 1 1/2hrs last night. Nearly every game finished with level 27-29 people at the top. There was level 28 guy running round with hawkmoon (that he'd clearly just got as it wasn't even started being levelled) and a blue fusion rifle and blue machine gun. He was annihilating everyone. Finishing with at least 20 odd kills every game. Sorry but he's 3 levels below me and I have maxed out weapons and I still couldn't kill him. Iron banner is broken yet again.

1 ReplyEdited by SantaCruzSkunk1: 1/14/2015 11:19:20 PMI agree with you and posted similar entries on a few threads. Cheesers have impacted everyone's experience in the Iron Banner so the old argument that "people can cheese if they want, it doesn't effect you, no harm in cheating" is invalid. Please note: I couldn't care less about KDR. I will gladly run in and sacrifice myself so everyone is looking at me while my teammates take another checkpoint. I'd rather have the win than a shiny KDR.

Never cheesed. There is no coorelation between skill in PvP and cheesing. I'm not good, but I'm not bad. I hold my own and go obj. I get some 5-6k games in Iron Banner. Someone messaged me because we lost (I had a 1.12 kd) n told me to go cheese Crota some more. I find it laughable that not doing amazing in PvP means you cheese. Sorry, I don't like exploiting shotguns and fusion rifles.

1 ReplyLevel 32s can survive shoulder charge in Iron Banner. Anybody else noticed this or am I just too noob? haha. Because normally, it's an instakill ability.
-
I've seen someone get 35 kills using a rare auto iron banner is fake as hell
-
Didn't I see you last week begging for a cheese group?
-
Last time I grinded Ib got my kd in control to almost 1.8 and haven't been bothered to really play crucible that much... Gets boring Yeah a lot of people cheesed lols I'm playing Ib as a 31 and I do sense a bit more difficulty
-
My KdR hasn't really changed in IB as a 32. Still find it fairly tough. Have the odd game where it might be over 1.5, but generally it's around 1.0.
-
From what I hear a level 22 can kill a level 32 with 2 thorn head shots so it can be making that much difference. Last time I did iron banner when 30 was as high as you could be I barely saw anyone lower than 28 anyway.
-
Not gonna deny I cheesed a bit but when the whole group wants to cheese I'm not gonna talk them out of it lol. Although unlike most I can do the entire raid legitly.
-
I only cheesed the Bridge because that shit takes forever to do, amirite. And go ahead and look at my stats. Really should dust off my Warlock... Haven't touched the guy in months :/
-
Yep I guess I still cheated because I was 32 before the cheeses but I have two hunters. I don't have that much time to play so it's the best option (I'd make another Hunter but I don't even have time for that). I play weekends and holidays only. I don't have time weekdays.
-
What fact do you have that "most 32 players exploited crota"? There are tons of ppl that beat it legit because they knew it would be fixed and they would be behind for hard mode.
-
Most people in crucible, 32 or not, suck.
-
Check my stats, lvl 32 and have cleared crota more times legit than cheesed.
-
All my stats are pretty good excluding strikes. I don't wanna talk about why
-
While I agree with the majority of the post, you really need to get over it. I have 3 32s. I like all parts of the raid. Only time I really cheesed it was to help friends after I already did it for myself, legit, cheese free. The raid is extremely fun, but lackluster and short. It takes less than an hour to complete, even with a bad team and without cheesing. Pretty sad.
-
I'm a 32 and while not being particularly fond of IB or the Crucible regard myself as being decent. That being said, I have horrible games, and I have 40+ kills 10.0 games. Buck up.
-
I've done both
-
I didn't exploit. Jk. I did. Hold muh dik!
-
I'm a 31 and carrying my team through iron banner, just finished a game and we won a game 20000-4000 and I topscored with a kd of 8
