Been documenting a solo guide running through CE (as a level 31 Striker) with no cheese for those who still want to do this raid solo after this patch. I haven't been able to solo Crota as a 31. The boomers and taking down his shield have been problematic. I just picked up my first Gjallarhorn last week though which is a game changer. If it is possible, it'll have to be as a Defender (WoL) with 331 Ghorn. [b]The Abyss:[/b] (video above) Used a max agility build with 331 MIDA (+2 agi). Aftershock, lightning grenade, and AoE melee damage makes a big difference. Essentially made it by keeping my darkness debuff down and double jumping on top of the lamps if I start getting swarmed. If your darkness clears before the Thralls catch up, go ahead and move to the next lamp. Also, something that helps is a launcher to thin the Thrall herd if I have to jump on top of the lamps. I used double jump off the lamp and shoulder charge to gain extra ground. Of course use AoE abilities if you become overwhelmed. I've also used the lamps themselves to juke Thralls and Knights if I run out of AoE abilities. At the final lamp, [u]pass the lamp to activate the bridge, circle back to the lamp and use super, Fist of Havoc (save your super when you get close to the last few lamps)[/u]. Clear your darkness, jump on top of the lamp and switch from MIDA to Patience and Time. Jump away before it blows up and stay cloaked until bridge gets built (don't sit still while cloaked, they'll get you, have to keep walking while ADS) and then make your move. [b]Bridge solo[/b] including [b]building the bridge by yourself[/b] [i](important to know after Tuesday's update)[/i]. Important notes: The sword bearer will either break right, left, or come straight for you. Ideally you'd like him to come straight for you. If he breaks right, you need to clear the thralls on the right side and then bait him to the bridge platform by standing exactly where I stood (it's an aggro sweet spot for some reason). If he breaks left, just jump off the cliff and do it again. I haven't been able to draw him to the center when he goes left. In the video, he broke right and I was able to draw him in by standing in that aggro spot. Also, you need to be building the bridge while killing him and have the sword drop right next to the platform. You'll only have 15 or so seconds to fully form the bridge after he dies or you won't make it. Instead of killing both wizards, then both shriekers, you will need to kill a wizard and shrieker on one side, then the other. Start on the right side, then the left. After you pull one wizard out and kill it, flashbang the melee knights at the entrance, run in and use rockets to down the shrieker. Run out and repeat on other side. This will need to be quick so make sure you're stocked on rockets and sniper rounds. Once the liturgy begins, go in the crystal room and jump on the door frame where you can unload sniper headshots into her until she's dead.
