iron banner is skill based and for hardcore players?
Well make it hardcore bungie fusion rifles don't show skill. It shows you suck

Same with shotguns. Same with suros. Same with vex. Same with a million things- I'm not defending fusion rifles, they're also easy to use, but I think by far the most noob friendly weapon type is shotgun

Iron Banner is Level Based and for pretty much anyone who can help a team win one out of every 6 matches. The rest is weapon imbalance hate. Its a game of beating your foe. Use Fusion rifles yourself or something better if they are bothering you. You aren't getting IB rep for anything but winning, not for using only a certain kind of weapon.

1. Fusion rifles don't aim themselves. They don't position themselves on the map. They don't pull their own triggers. 2. The ability to react quickly and land headshots with a rifle ARENT the only "skills" in this game. The ability to assess a tactial situaiton and quickly decide what is the right weapon to use...and WHERE TO USE IT FROM....is also a skill. One that the Crucible---especially Iron Banner---often rewards more highly than the person with the fastest nervous system.

I actually find it agitating to use a fusion rifle in the crucible I rarely get kills with them

2 RepliesK/D doesn't rep skill. If I out play you and you say you are a skilled player, then, that would prove I have more skills than you. When Bungie ever, if they ever, add private matches to Destiny we will never know. Maybe we can set up a public Rumble match, tho. It won't be 1v1, but it'll be fun to see who out performs who^-^

1 ReplyIt would be interesting if Iron Banner came with 1 gun...everything had to be done with that one gun. And it'd be a shitty one, like the one you get during the first story mission - broken sight and all.

1 ReplyI don't want to sound like these douchebags that write in but damn man...you must be standing still or charging at enemies if you get shredded by them that often. I can understand when you're lagging, because the sound and visuals are all messed up, but honestly, fusions are actually one of the decently balanced weapons.
