If you want to get it quicker wait until the end of the week, Friday or Saturday and play then you get about 100 for a win

I think it took me 5 hours of being utter wank to get to rank 3 the time before last. That was with the buff going. I think you can by a 12 hour buff for a more more than once, so even if you couldn't play during the week two good sessions at the weekend could see you up to lv 5
