•Number of items: 519
259% drop rate
•Number of rare items: 449
224% drop rate
•Number of rare weapons: 122
56% drop rate
•Number of rare armours: 327
163% drop rate
•Number of legendary items: 20
10% drop rate
•Number of exotic items: 2
1% drop rate
•Number of motes of lights: 14
7% drop rate
•Number of strange coins: 9
4% drop rate
•Number of legendary ships: 11
5% drop rate
•Number of shaders: 14

RARES: 2 every 1 strike
LEGENDARIES: 1 every 10 strikes
EXOTICS: 1 every 100 strikes

Edit 1: this has been trending for a full day :D. I am considering doing 1,000 strikes to get a better data table to work with which should provide a better understanding of rng for roc strikes, if this is something that people are interested in let me know with a reply and likes. If you are attempting to state how often a specific item will drop then it is in relation to how many times it dropped per # of total drops that occurred, not per # of times played. This will change your "X per X strikes" values as well when comparing drop rates to # of strike plays. EDIT: I'm wrong in my math for my previous example. If exotics account for 2 out of 519 drops then the drop rate is .385% (round up to .4%). This equates to 1 exotic drop per 250 drops. If a strike has 2-4 drops per play then exotics per strike = an average of 1 per 90 strikes* *calculated using the average number of strikes it takes to earn 250 drops [(250/2) + (250/3) + (250/4)] / 3 = 90.27

1 ReplyThis is probably as accurate as anything can get with the RNG that bungie has. In my experience I've had 2 exotics drop. Ive run a total of 156 or so strikes (not sure how many are ROC though), so the 1 out of a 100 seems pretty close.

1 ReplyWhile this is solid information, it needs to be understood that it's random and doing ten strikes isn't where's my legendary. let's assume this is completely accurate, that means you roll an x sided die, let's say 100 and you roll it twice, there's 10 legendary sides and 1 exotic. And so on.

10 RepliesThat is by no means consistent. When I ran Tiger Strikes, I got about two hundred strikes in before I got the PoS that is Last Word. That was the only exotic. 1/200. Now unless they more than quadrupled the drop rate, this seems like an unlikely statistic to reference as reliable.

14 RepliesFor you to have substantial and correct data you need more people and more strikes. Say, 3-6 people doing at least 1000 strikes. Also, drop rate can't be over 100%. Either it constantly drops (i.e. 100% of the time) or it doesn't drop every time (i.e. < 100%).

1 ReplyIts all rng. There are no chances of getting more good drops the more you play. In one week. I got 3 mida multi tools. Ice breaker . And universal remote. Roughly about 80 strikes . That's nice you did all the data

isnt this only accurate to you? If someone else did 200 ROC strikes they would have completely different rewards, and may even be rewarded more exotics, legendary, motes, coins, etc. Its cool, definately something that you would want to keep track of - then again, if you did another 200 would you get more legendary? I've literally done a handfull (15 tops?) of ROCS and 5 blues turned to legendary(from 1 run in NEXUS), i got 3 legendaries and a ship, and that was out ofmaybe 7 strikes total. I'm just saying.
