Learn to -blam!-ing raid you scrub. Doing a ton of pvp matches to get your gear takes no skill. Anyone can do that. Especially now that you get a medal for a loss that gets redeemed when you do win smh. That means everyone can eventually get the stuff even if they suck horribly.

My girlfriend gets 0-2 kills per game, has all five medals, has played at least three days of Iron Banner and isn't even rank 1 yet. What're you trying to say?
-
Wait, so let me get this straight. You're saying that it takes no skill to earn gear by playing PvP, but it does take skill to get lucky and "earn" that gear through RNG? I don't follow your logic, ESPECIALLY considering the fact that until yesterday you could do nearly the entire raid without any skill whatsoever by cheesing. I've done crota's end every week since it first came out, and only have the boots for my hard work, without even enough shards to upgrade them.
-
P.s. You have 4 crota's end raid completions some of which I doubt were start to finish. And I'm glad that you didn't win any gear for cheesing it.
-
First of all If you cheese this raid you just plain suck so bad you don't deserve your raid gear you should just get a giant dildo helmet. The raid is not hard and you're a scrub if you can't beat it legit. What I'm saying is that absolutely anyone can go in and hit max iron banner rank if they want to. I never do pvp but I feel like doing IB so I'm gonna hit max rank in a day or two and grab the rewards just because I feel like it. I don't think it's in any way challenging I mean with the medals it's like you win every match anyways since they're redeemed when you win one.... it's a joke. Not to mention the huge xp buff you can get to make you rank even faster plus easy ass bounties. I think doing a raid legit takes way more skill then doing a bunch of pvp matches which most of you are already gonna do anyways. I bet you 75 percent of the people who will hit max IB rank would look like a chicken with it's head cut off in a raid. (Doing it legit I mean)

You do realise that anyone can get 32 gear out of the raid, provided they're the right level. People can solo the abyss, and it's easy with as few as 3 people at the bridge towards the end. That means 3 people can die at the first lamp, not get revived and still get 32 gear. It's really not as impressive as everyone makes it out to be.
-
I can agree with this. Although I think if someone really died at the first lamp or 2 I would boot their a$$ so fast they would get dizzy pass out and wake up in an iron banner match.
-
Hahahaha true
-
Sure , my bad. Sorry for wanting something NICE out of IB, how dare I .....
-
Scrub!
-
ho ho forgot about you derp
-
It's nice enough to give a piece of 32 gear that ANYONE can obtain. What do you expect them to hand over? I'm going to do IB just because I enjoy collecting everything. I'll hit max rank by tomorrow or the day after.
-
Don't listen to them. Bunch of Carebear trolls. The PvE and PvP worlds of should offer separate progression paths to the highest levels. The problem is RNG - more often than not incompetence in the Crucible seems to be rewarded, and this gives the Carebears fuel for their fire.

Edited by GK Switch: 1/13/2015 4:41:17 PMIf they want top notch 32 crucible gear then they need something truly challenging. Trials of Osiris is more like it. I would expect top gear and rewards for something like that. But not iron banner. Too easy.

I agree with you 100%. In my opinion the RNG nature of Destiny hits PvP harder than PvE. If you get a decent exotic via Raid completion that is a much fairer award than someone with a negative KDR on a losing team that gets the same. Bungie are responsible for this mess.
