I have never done the nightfall version of the strike. Any tips for this week?
Edit1: thanks guys! I did the nightfall last night and got Suros Regime!

It's the second easiest nightfall

Just what we need, another noob with a Suros lol

Noticed last nite that if one guy was too far behind then we would wipe and get sent to orbit, not because we died ,he was just too far behind, never had this happen before

Edited by zmach1: 1/15/2015 8:44:44 PMThe first part was a grind of patience. Second was maybe the easiest. Third was my disaster until I used the room to the left. Suros! Nice find. I finally did it today after 3 misses yesterday and got Voidfang Vestments. And of course I already had it, but this one has better stats.

First part was a pain, we hid down by the train. Rest was a breeze thanks to Patience & Time!

2 RepliesWith all Arc weapons its a stroll in the park.
-
Only thing to really watch out for are the stealth vandals that seem to miraculously teleport around the map - one hit and your toast!
-
Fallen do arc damage. It hurts. But... It's not bad, they're just fallen and you were handed murmur to handle captains.
-
Easy.. Fatebringer =4500 damage per shot.
-
It's better to go near the train to right then camp near the start , it's much quicker

2 RepliesEdited by Pyro 509: 1/15/2015 8:07:15 AMFirst part with the 3 waves is the hardest part, if you have trouble, camp the stairs by the entrance instead of the balcony by the exit after you start it. Everything else just do what you normally do and use arc weapons to blast through it quickly ;) PS: if you're camping the stairs for the first part and move forward to kill those bastards that like to hide behind the wall, keep your eye on the spawns ;)

Edited by MICLINE: 1/15/2015 8:28:34 AM1st area, go to where the hive are, kill all. For boss go into the room on the left when u walk in and keep popping shots. Easy

With proper caution it one of the easiest nightfalls. You can go into the stairway room to the left of the entrance of the boss area and shoot through the window and be really well defended.

Edited by DarrylEXK: 1/15/2015 2:38:42 AMWith a 32 with only one arc weapon ( I didn't have any ok) and a Christmas noob school friend with only blade dancer as his only arc, we got r aped. Once we got my 32 who finally joined us midway though the devil walker( easiest part) we destroyed it. My only problem was how I didn't have any arc. My fault I guess. My only tip: be cautious as 9/10 enemies have arc as well. Also have as many arc weapons as possible.

Tough to solo because of them damn arc homing bullets the vandals fire so 1 mistake can mean a quick trip back to orbit. Clear the mesh room, deploy your ghost then head down towards where the fist of crota mission ends. Snipe from there using the brow of the hill as cover, enemies won't follow you down there so take your time and clear the 3 waves. For the devil walker stay in the corner closest to you as you enter the area and snipe. For Sepiks I stay in the room directly left of where you enter the area using the windows for cover. It can take a bit longer from there but is probably the safest place, just be careful of arc grenades being thrown in by the dregs Arc weapons are a must obviously, but having some kind of solar weapon/ability is handy for the shanks

Fatebringer and Patience and Time make it take about 10 to 15 minutes with two people. Three and you are golden.
-
3 RepliesJust need some patience and time.
-
I killed sepkis himself in less than 20 seconds with 2 teammates.
-
Its not too bad, but respect it. My friends and I got overzealous and got sent to orbit.
-
What are you on? if you haven't done it I can help

Well, you have heat seeking arc bullets comming after you in it. Arc damage is multiplied. More enemies have armor like the snipers, and they also have boosted damage... in fact most enemies use arc in this strike do. Then they are also no flinching and light switch. So they kill you in one (or two) melee hit and you can't even slow the approaching enemies down. This means you have to basicaly snipe the enemies from safe location. My advice is to try out the snipers for this one, they work really well in here and are pretty much the most viable choice (bring ammo packs with you): 1. For first bit the "Mesh deactivation", best place to "cheese" in is the near the tunnel hole on right side. Shoot your enemies from there till they are all dead and don't run out too much. 2. Devil Tank: Go left right away near the building on the left side there is this container there. Enemies won't come there and you can just keep on shooting the tank there. Just be careful of it's shots and you'll beat it eventually. Ammo packs are super useful here too. 3. For the boss itself... just stay in the room at the left side as soon as you enter the fight with it. Enemies won't come there, but they will try to shoot at you. Try also to be careful of the "melee" the boss does as he teleports JUST OUTSIDE the room sometimes and melees you to death from the window quite fast. That should do it if you got a group with you. :)

Play the back for the 1st part, snipe the walker and goons, and play the door on prime.
-
Not bad if you have good weapons and know the best places to stay safe during the encounters. Also if you have an arc primary weapon, of which there are only 2 and they only drop in the VOG on hard, that makes it a LOT easier.
-
Supereasy, just beware of captains and invisibles

Solo'd on Titan and 'Lock, deactivating the generator is the hardest part. After that though, it's a breeze.
