How does raid checkpoints work?
Hi!
I've had some trouble with the raid checkpoints last week. Out of three characters only one has finished the VoG on any difficulty. The other two have only been used for the specific bosses.
Last week I set out to get the remaining primary drops from VoG. I played with a group as far as Templar with one alt and to Atheon with the other. None of these characters kept their checkpoints and I was left with restarting on normal or find a group with a checkpoint.
Please explain to me what must be done in order for me to keep my checkpoint! Must I be fireteam leader? Do I need to play with exactly the same group? Or do I need to finish the raid on normal or hard before the checkpoints can be used?

5 RepliesI've never had a problem, you get to the checkpoint and have the whole team wipe bada bing bada boom checkpoint saved.

4 RepliesCheckpoints aren't saved unless you reach that phase and the whole team dies. Then, you get the checkpoint. If you went from one character without having the team wipe so it's saved, and then switched to a different one, then the checkpoint wasn't saved

4 RepliesEvery Tuesday everything resets. This includes raid checkpoints and vanguard/crucible marks. You can only earn 100 of each every week, and you max out at 200 each. Also every Tuesday the weekly and the nightfall reset. Hope this helps!

3 RepliesTuesday's reset cancels out those checkpoints. If you didn't complete the raid on all characters, you loose your checkpoint at reset. So today you'll have to start from the beginning.
