You don't need a fat magazine if you can reload in a fraction of a second. It's great for pve, but shines in PvP. I use that variation for raids, weekly, and crucible. The reason you want to avoid field scout is because you won't really need it with outlaw, and a larger magazine tends to make your lucky shot proc less frequently. A six or seven bullet magazine with luck in the chamber will give you a lucky shot within the first two rounds fired, sometimes three. In crucible, this yields 2shot precision kills.
