Highest damage per shot gun in the game
I have searched the internet and asked different people "What is the best damage per shot weapon in the game?" and I always get "it depends on what type of gun you like to use and how you play". So the question I'm now asking the Destiny community is "What is the best damage per shot weapon in the game for each class of weapon?"

1 ReplyNLB does the most, but in terms of effective weapons, Hawkmoon is top as it can do 2.2k crits.

Sniper wise Efirdeets spear, plant iron banner and maybe it'll drop for you

Any sniper in crucible has the most damage per shot, next is a fusion rifle depending on how many bolts hit the target, then shotties The best is probably BC or PT

Black Hammer is what I've seen in my experience to have the highest damage per hit

Either black hammer or the latest Iron Banner Sniper headshot.. I don't think anything really beats Galbladderhorn...

2 Replies7500 a precision with black hammer upgraded. No weapons of light. Plus it can take a fallen walker or cabal tank down in under a minute if skilled with the sniper.

You people are all wrong. It's the white preacher MK. 20 you get from the start of the game. It can one shot Atheom, crota, oryx, and even DeeJ.

Edited by I’m Dunn-4, Exo PDF File: 1/12/2015 6:34:56 PMThe Aegis does the most damage at a DPS of 13,000-15,000 While the Gjallarhorn does 11,650-14,650. But we don't count the Aegis because it can only be used in the VoG. (These damages were found when encountering Atheon)

Hawkmoon has a chance to get 2500 on a crit for a dreg but normally on a crit it does 1895 These are coming from a level 31 warlock with an upgraded and capped Hawkmoon
