Hello Bungie. I doubt anyone has posted on this specific topic more than I. This is my fifth time needing to find this forum topic and as you know (because you read the responses) that I've been Un able to even accsess Destiny. Before I go to the trouble of leaving my specs I'll let you know what week has consisted of to just try and play the game I bought from you guys and done everything suggested. First 3 days of the week we're spent cache clearing, port forwarding, modem resting, calls to the ISP, calls to IT friends, calls to you (if you had a number to call), phone calls to Microsoft about xbox live, and I also powered down everything completely for one of those days. The last four days of the week were spent uninstalling your game (as per your recommendation) and installing it again...twice. Let me she'd some light...IT TOOK TWO DAYS PER DOWNLOAD and would you like to know the result of these? I still get wasp. Wasp wasp wasp wasp wasp wasp wasp wasp wasp wasp wasp wasp wasp wasp wasp. I'm not going to be asking no money back. I'm kindly demand it. I can not play your game and you are not offering anything to fix so our business is done. That is the line. If I find can not play your game for more then 4 months? That's ridiculous! Outrageous! Many other descriptive words! None of this would be a problem if you just solve the problem....like really? You have been notified by thousands of customers about this (months ago I might add ,almost how long Destiny has been out) , customers that can't even play your "working" game. If it works, prove it. Show me on my console that Destiny can and will work.

I hope you fix this, not for me but for you. The future of this game I'm grumbling around you and you guys are having cold feet or some sort of panic attack and your doing nothing. YOU HAVE THE WORST REVIEWS OUT THE LAST COUPLE OF MONTHS. LITERALLY HUGE PORTIONS OF GAMERS (NOT EVEN JUST DESTINY GSMERS) DO NOT UNDERSTAND HOW A COMPANY OF YOUR STATUS COULD NOT ONLY RUIN A GAME SO BAD, BUT INSULT AND ABANDON EVERYONE (NOT JUST YOU SELF, NOT JUST DESTINY GAMERS) AND ALL FORMS OF COMMUNICATION AND REFUSE TO EXPLAIN WHY YOU NAILED AN EGG TO THE WALL. You must not of played the Halo MCC
-
I've actually read more good reviews about it than Destiny. They are at least fixing HUGE mistakes and not blaming players. I do want MCC though as Destiny pvp is very unreliable in terms of keeping connected.
-
When MCC came out for the first month literally unplayable. Even the campaign was screwed up. And evertime they said they fixed it, it would be some how worse. As of right now its running a million times better.
-
Even after all those updates for Halo, I still can't find a game.
-
Dang your stuff must be really messed up
-
Can you clarify the stuff? I'm actually pissed that I can't play Halo. It's the reason why I bought an Xbox One instead of a PS4.
-
Are you connected to the internet?
-
Yeah, how else would you play matchmaking? lol Just like what 343i said, I stay in for 4mins then restart the searching; And still get nothing. Destiny on the other hand, I can find games within seconds...
-
Yea I was joking lol. 343i is all messed up. I haven't played since new years.
-
That's awesome to know. I'll be buying a working game :D. unlike destiny ;)
-
How is destiny broken? I understand it has flaws and my two issues is that its to easy for newbs to get higher levels and I want more free roaming. The game needs to be more challenging
-
You did read what you commented on...right? Like that was what my whole post was about lol.
-
Yea. Downloading and connection issues
-
Currently large amounts of Xbox users are experiencing error codes locking them out of Destiny 100%. These users and my self included can not make these error dissappear regardless of all the solutions bungie has posted.
-
Don't get me wrong. I've had my fair amount of issues with downloading hence why I'm here reading solutions
-
Fair enough. There have been some reports that others have mentioned to bungie about wasp over 2 months ago :/.

Edited by ylMason: 1/13/2015 4:17:34 PMWasp is my biggest issue. I got tired of wireless so I bought these Ethernet plug ins from Amazon. You plug one in the wall near your router and plug the other one in near your xbox. Run Ethernet cords to the devices. It's like running internet through your wall Jack. Obviously not as good as straight Ethernet but better than wireless. I keep my xbox in the game room in the basement and the router upstairs so it works out.
-
So I have to run a cord from each if these plugs to each other or one from the plug near my Xbox to my Xbox and one from the router to the router?
-
Yea comes with two plug ins as said and it will come with two 3 foot ethernet cords. Router to plug in. Then wherever you xbox is located plug in to xbox.
-
As long as I do not have to connect the plugs to each other. Similar to your setup, we had a computer gaming room in our basement but have since upgraded into some laptops opposed to desktops. That being said our very permanet ISP situation is permanent downstairs where the room is and I'd have to run like 40 feet of cord to connect those plugs xD.
-
Hi Viral. I think your biggest issue is your WiFi connection. I had a similar issue when I first bought Destiny (360) and then again on xb1 when I upgraded. Destiny does seem to be very sensitive packet loss and WiFi is just that. I would strongly suggest wired connections for gaming
-
I can not do wired gaming. For health reasons we stopped using that computer room and the room beside it becuase there has been slight flooding and some mold and no cash to fix.
-
Is there no way you can try a wired connection to test. That will at least eliminate connectivity. I'm 80% sure that will fix your problem. Also how strong is your wireless signal from your router to console?
-
Edited by Viral_Assassin8: 1/14/2015 5:30:55 PMIt's probably at its best with out being right in the same room like it used to be. I've never had a problem with connecting or keeping connected to router. My ISP though sometimes has hiccups but not every day occurrence.
-
Daurel has the right idea. Wiring it up will fix the problem. Wifi is temperamental, and the cheap units that ISPs provide are terrible (which is what it sounds like your using: "our very permanet ISP situation is permanent downstairs"). If you can't be in the basement for long periods of time then you need to move the router upstairs anyways, which your ISP will do upon request. It will cost some cash, but this particular issue is caused by your network setup, not Bungie. Not saying that Bungie's model couldn't be better, but your network configuration is not ideal or recommended for any game.
