I feel your pain.
The last max level upgrade on VoG I could not get the Gauntlets to drop for love nor money, every week I ran it I never got them so could not max out my Hunter, that wasn't until the Iron Banner came along so I hit that hard everyday and got to rank 5 in under a week and purchased the Gauntlets.
I made a post about this weeks Iron Banner, I am almost certain it will contain the Armour to build up your Guardian to Light 32.
I was lucky this time with Crota's End, all Armour has dropped for my Hunter.

Oo yeah, its in the update ( which I did not bother to read prior my post) it will be lvl32, but like many have asked , how will it be upgraded is the main question? Anyway , I am happy today for getting the Thunderlord from a purple engram from the daily:) Yahooooooo :) Good luck with IB this week, to you too.

Wow, that's great luck! One of my coworkers, who rarely plays, got 4 Horsemen from the weekly strike yesterday. Lucky bugger.

I think you will need to reach IB Rank 5 in Crucible and then purchase it from Lord Saladin.
