This is exactly the problem with Destiny, you whiny PVP players or whiny bitches who can't use the plethora of resources at your disposal to get the raid gear to get you to level 32. You are the reasons that Bungie has bent over so far backwards to please you that you have ruined the forums for most if not all of the players who are trying to find teams and looking for advice. Nearly every time I see a comment it is usually about someone complaining about not having good gear and DEMANDING that Bungie just hand it over. If you want it you have to work for it, I did. I've made dozens of friends and met tons of great people from the networking and hours of searching for groups. It really isn't fair to the people who really dedicate themselves to this game if every Tom, Dick and Harry are given the armor every time a special Crucible event rolls around. It used to be that being a 30 or higher was a symbol of hard work and hours of frustration. And now it kills me how even after the gear upgrade and Iron Banners people still aren't happy they are high level. And what's worse is the fact I've seen so many players in crucible with great gear to get them to 31, but they won't out and run around for resource materials! And whine and complain about being a level 28 and the next Iron Banner is coming up. So you Crucible players can take your little egos and ram them up your whiny asses

Another thing, neither Tom, Dick, nor Harry are just given the armor. The Iron Banner is a much harder grind than Crota's End. Crota's End takes around 30 minutes to complete all in all. You CANNOT get all the Iron Banner gear in 30 minutes. It takes days, the whole week for some. No one is just given the gear. You have to actually do good and shoot at a real target, not a repetitive NPC. In conclusion, take the cucumber out of your butt, come down from your ignorant throne, and go play Iron Banner tomorrow so that I can embarrass and humiliate you. That way I'm that much closer to getting light 36 armor.
-
Also, no one is going to take you serious with your poor grammar.
-
I've done CE every week since TDB came out. I'm only level 31. Completing that easy raid by no means should justify that you shouldn't earn light 36 armor from the Iron Banner. Sounds like you are complete trash in PvP and solely do PvE to make yourself feel better about finally being able to kill something.
-
I'm not going to lie about it, I'm not the greatest in PVP. I'm not the greatest in PVE either. I'm not trying to be elitist, my point was made when I said that Bungie bends over backwards for people who solely play Crucible, or even the lazy PVE players who don't want to take out the 30 or so minutes to run a few circles in an area farming chests or nodes. And I even made a point to say(on a later thread) that I don't care how you get your gear, just don't bitch about it.
-
I'm sorry as well. I didn't mean to be so harsh. But I think there should be more than just one way to get to the level cap. That way it wouldn't be so linear. Also, I just enjoy PvP more.
-
It's cool dude
-
If it makes you feel any better, they're not selling a helmet. So I'm still 31 for a while. Lol
-
I'm gonna be 32 when I can get my hands on those gauntlets. RNGesus wouldn't give them to me, all I've gotten aside from the chest and boots since launch has been radiant materials across all my characters
-
The helmet is always the last piece for me.
-
Pre dlc it was the VOG boots then when I saw the IB was giving away boots that would make me level 30 I spent 3 days of constant IB grinding to get them. Exploiting the double bounty glitch the whole time. Now it's gauntlets and I'm gonna do the exact same thing until I get them.
-
Boots are always the first piece I get. But then it takes me weeks to get the helmet. Didn't get it yesterday.
-
Got 'em, just need to max them out by Wednesday
-
I decided to buy Achlyophage Symbiote from Xur. So now I'm 32 and my titan will be today as well.
-
Excuse you. I've probably ran the raid more times than you and still am not 32. Its not my fault I get unlucky. I've reset multiple characters just to run it again, only to get the gauntlets or boots AGAIN. Iron banner should have 36 gear for players like me who actually have to earn their gear. Oh and -blam!- all you elitist 32s. Most of you are garbage anyways.
-
Have to agree with you. When I first started playing I was all about pvp. Eventually got bored and explored doing raids and now I'm all about pve. There's so much more. Pvp is such a small part of this game and bungie already gives it it's due.
-
Thank you
-
I've completed the raid every week. I've had two bits of armour drop. I've had one gun drop. Explain to me why I shouldn't be allowed to hit 32 from pvp and someone else can from pve because they got lucky.

All of the major updates to the Tower vendors were to please the PVP players, it was nice to trade resource materials for reputation and marks to buy better gear, now marks are worthless to have. They were made to trade for resource materials for the lazy pricks who think themselves too high and mighty to go find them. They weren't hard to find to begin with, it was also a great way for PVP people to go to the locations interact with people and experience the whole game. I've seen my fair share of people who, once they hit level 5 went to the Crucible and never returned to finish the story or at least unlock Mars for the relic iron. And they're the ones that I'm primarily targeting. They have no reason to complain or demand the developers, who brought us the game, give them every last thing they whine and bitch about. So here is my last word. Go out and make friends you bunch of losers, this is a social game. Even the PVP is social. If you don't have the time to raid then don't bitch at the raiders or the ones with high level gear. And your level doesn't even matter in the Crucible unless the Iron Banner is active. If your trying to use it as a status symbol, GO EARN IT!

more tears collected keep it up and I will finish that bounty just by following you.
-
And to add another thought the my statement above, not every 32 you see cheesed Crota. As a matter of fact I've killed Crota three times and got absolutely nothing good from it other than a shotgun. The loot is rng based regardless of how you get it.
