For the people worried about this getting patched by Tuesday: They will not patch this on time with the new update. Bungie takes forever to update this game. If they decide to patch this also, it will delay the original update that was planned for Tuesday so either way, we will have time to do this.
And for people that DISLIKE cheeses, this is getting the word out. Everyone wins

Edit 4: Just confirmed, I did this on my titan the same way post patch.
Edit 5: If you are having a hard time try jumping from farther back on the rock, it will make you stay in the light for a longer period of time.

And I love the people who find/teach them I am more than capable of actually doing it legitimately, but I love being able to do an entire raid in like 30 min it's freakin great because it gives me more times to do other things ( in destiny most of the time ) . And I don't understand why they patch them " oh no we didn't make this the way it was supposed to do made! Better freakin patch it so all the people who like getting sh•t done in a timely manner have to take an extra hour trying to guide the children to work together to do something extremely simple but somehow mess it up 9 times in a row ! And if they're lucky they'll only be kicked 3-4 times! " Also people whine about it a lot ( including me sometimes, no ones perfect ) which makes me laugh.

3 RepliesTo be honest, this one shouldn't be patched. They lamp jump is a cheese, but this I would consider more of an alternate route to take. They should move the first chest to somewhere in the middle of the lamp section so you have to do it the normal way to get the chest, or you can do this and skip the chest.

The 24hrs of fame and undeserved attention you recurve on the Destiny forums is not worth destroying the raids credibility by helping others to achieve something without having to work for it. There is no need to post this info on the forums in order to have it fixed. [b]In the past Bungie has sent players gift packages as a token of their appreciation for finding various bugs and glitches and privately notifying them so they could be fixed before they became public information.[/b] I wish more people would act accordingly and do the same upon finding these things. Just my two cents. Personally the CE raid cheesing has destroyed the game in my mind it gave a huge portion of the community a free ride to 32. To those who achieved 32 without cheesing the raid congrats it really takes a lot of coordination with a good team. The hard work put in by those who have done the raid legit all along will go unnoticed until the hard raid is available. When that day comes we shall all see the real mvp's of destiny All the time you've put into the game thus far and all the preparation it takes to do the raid legitimately becomes nothing more that a waste of time since anyone with thumbs can achieve the same thing you had to work for.

whats the point doing this? Not fun, the time that this takes is similar than do it legit, this part is the easiest in the raid... Unless you play with your level 27 alt, this cheese is useless.

7 RepliesWhat is the trick to the lamp jump? I wait for weight of darkness to clear then double jump but it kicks back in as I approach the top. I was on voidwalker with max agility and icebreaker with light weight
