The never ending quest for a hawkmoon
I've had my heart set on getting a hawkmoon for quite some time now. I've maxed out my vanguard and crucible marks on 3 characters for three weeks in a row, and only received a plan C. I'm going to continue the grind until i get a hawkmoon/jellyhorn. Any body that would like me to record my rewards make a comment and let me know. Also, i'd be interested in hearing how others got these weapons.

Got hawk moon first nightfall 1 week after release then got another one. About 3 weeks ago roughly on nightfall again

Got my first one from the chest prior to the Gorgon maze. Ironic part? I got a 2.0 version last night from the same chest on my Warlock, and then Truth on my Hunter.

1 ReplyTo get exotics. Play both raids on Hard. Play the Nightfall, Weekly, and Dailies. Then after those expire, play the ROC strikes. The more chances for an exotic you have, the better chance of getting both of those weapons.

1 ReplyDoing Crota normal raid , get to the death singers and we killed it and I get the Hawkmoon with my hunter , decide to run the raid again on our alt and I get Monte Carlo , even now I still can't believe it

I got one in Nightfall a few weeks back. It's kind of like a 331 The Devil You Know with faster fire rate and 3 random bullets do like +50% bonus damage. It's a lot of fun in PvE.

Two weeks ago I did a crota raid and someone joined to help. It was the first time death singers had a reward. Ir yurt was nice enough to give a hawk moon to someone in our party and the person who joined lit up. He was so shocked he called his friend on the phone to tell him that someone dropper a hawk moon and it wasn't him. We did another run and the kid didn't stop talking about the hawk moon drop the whole time. Last week crotas end dropped me 2 hawk moons on back to back runs. One at death signer one at crota. Now I feel bad that I have 2 and I really hope that guy got his already. Dang he really really wants one.

1 ReplyCongrats, day 143 of no hawkmoon for me. Played every days since launch. 60 completed nightfalls, 45 VoG clears, 12 Crotas end clears over 300 strikes no hawkmoon or gjallahorn for that matter.

I got mine last night playing iron banner. It's the only exotic I've ever got like that. Btw it's the best weapon I've ever used.

Nightfall, Atheon, and Roc is where I got my 3, best primary in the game for pve.

So did iryut and crota 3 times in hopes of a hawkmoon got 2 duplicates and 1 upgrade to an exotic I already had
