Best 331 legendary scout?
What are your thoughts on these?
Also named a shit load is:
Badger CCL
B-Line Trauma
Ghaleons Demise
Cryptic Dragon
This post was just a simple question between these top two, but now I should have added all scouts!
Okay, I -blam!-ed up on the title. I know VoC reigns supreme over scouts. I was only curious on these two, I've heard a lot about them. But nothing to convince me to get one.
VoC is my favorite scout too :)

Edit 2: check my warlock for NiTC, compare that to store bought rapier! I forgot I had this thing almost maxed ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Last Edit: So I bought the rapier from the vendor, I love it. Thanks for all the opinions. Hopefully I'll get more scouts with these perks and I'll really be able to tell you guys which is best!

Got luck with the calling from a nightfall. Came with final round and third eye. Extremely happy right now.

Voc is amazing in the right situation. Solar burn or solar shields. Outside that. Bringing a 300 wep gimps your damage that's undeniable. And full auto? It is full auto but you can still press a trigger and fire it just as fast

VoC is great but my NiTC currently on my Titan is better. With the exception of solar burn. Just have to get the right perks.

If you could get a 331 Ghaleons Demise and then reroll it with Firefly and one of the reload perks, then get stability in the seelction slots that would be probably the best of the lot. Unfortunately this has so far evaded me. :(

I got Another NITC with Outlaw, Hammer Forged and Firefly. Pretty fun weapon, especially if you have room. However, I discovered that at least in the VoG, my old 300 Crypt Dweller kills oracles faster due to the higher RoF. Wish I had VoC, but it seems that all I ever get to drop in VoG is Timebreaker. I think I've gotten 8 or 9 of them so far...

1 ReplyThe Calling should be on this list. Explosive rounds, radar when aimed, and random bonus damage in clip. Great for crowd control. Plus it's FWC so the paint job is decent.

Interestingly, from my experience, the Badger seems the most fearfull in crucible and the Rapier best for PvE. Typical of bungie for the best PvE gun to be sold by the Crucible vendor and the best Crucible one from the Vanguard!

The rapier is almost the same as the VoC from a handling perspective. The differences are: Voc is auto, rapier is not. Voc is solar, rapier is not. rapier is 331, voc is 300. rapier has firefly, voc does not. The Rapier with the extended range perk on turns into a primary praedyth's revenge. Last night I was standing in the middle of the Archers Line (moon patrol) blowing up random groups of mobs at both ends of the map without moving. Awesome.

6 RepliesI have Gheleons Demise 331 with Zen Moment, Flared Magwell, and Firefly. Wouldn't swap it for anything (except maybe a fatebringer in some situations)

I would say Nict, I have acquired both a couple of times, but have gotten the best perks on Nitc. Mine has firefly and explosive rounds.

1 ReplyThe problem with these types of questions is you have to look at your target audience. The NiTC is available from Vanguard whereas the Rapier only to Crucible. Everyone who plays the game will easily get NiTC because you get vanguard stuff doing everything. You have to grind crucible to get the Rapier. The real question you want to ask is what is the best legendary scout, but only to people who have both these guns. The answers is obviously the Satrienne Rapier. The only thing close is those who roll the others from a drop that includes firefly. But again that's not the question you're asking as I assume you want to buy one.
