If Iron Banner does not offer lvl32 armour, I am not doing this time!
Who else feels the same?
EDIT: JUST IN- LVL 32 GAUNTLETS IN IB, A MASSIVE ' F ' YOU TO THE 99.9% THAT WERE SPITTING VENOM AND SH#T ALL OVER THIS TREAD...

2 RepliesI agree. This is why I kind of wish there was PvP and PvE specific gear. It gives everyone the option to reach the level cap for what they invest the most time in. Pvp gear could then have stats that would benefit in the crucible and IB. PvE gear for patrols strike and raids. Imo there should be two sets of gear for each PvE Tower gear Raid gear PvP Crucible gear Iron Banner gear Stats and damage output for the raid and crucible gear should always be higher and better than the lower end gear too. Hopefully Bungie takes note of this for Destiny 2.

7 RepliesWhile i do agree that i want more options for hitting max level, you really cant expect others to not be upset about it. Raids are supposed to be the hardest content in the game, you are litteraly "saving the world" in them, crucible however is just "training". I do not think crucible is has hard as raids(not that raids are very hard) so from this PoV crucible should not get max light gear. But only one armor set is borring, so ill take anything i can get really. Hope they do have max light.

Gear that increase melee speed, grenade throw, replenish grenade energy with grenade damage. Ib class specific gear like do two shoulder charges in a row if the first is in mid air. Remote triger all grenades(pressure release or other wise) . Snipe with exploding rounds. Edit....Also ib should be about pvp and not getting gear for raid.

It won't. They might offer ONE piece to supplement 32 but that's it.

1 ReplyI really don't think 32 armor is important... Maybe sometime after Crota HM has come out? I just don't think the IB should have that. It'd be far to easy to hit 32. You'd probably only need ascendant shards and shit.

You CAN solo the new raid. A bunch of people have done it. I do hope they have 32 gear this iron banner to give it sole relevance in the game.

I wouldn't do it without 32 armor. I'd like to mix and match a few pieces of armor with my raid armor to look different. Other than that, there's not much in the way of rewards one can earn. The microscopically small chance of an exotic doesn't count, I'd rather do strikes for that.

IB was great for getting the gun with the best perks. It did take a lot of motes of light, or massive luck. That is the reward of IB. Most crucible players do not need level 32 armor. The level difference is too small to matter. Most Pve'ers do not know the maps, shotgun slide, quick scoping, or the always primed fusion rifle.

IB and the crucible needs it's own set of gear with it's own stats. WoW revitalized PvP when they introduced the Resiliency stat on PvP specific gear. This gear would give up a stat like Intellect/Disc/Strength and replace it with a stat that decreased the amount of damage taken by other guardians in PvP ONLY.

2 RepliesI think it would be nice if the IB can provide a path to 32 simply so we have options for a different look. I'm not a fan of the Titan or warlock Crota helmets That being said I'm terrible at PVP.

Iron Banner won't give out lvl 32 armor until the new dlc is around the corner, imo...we'll see, I guess.

I think it would be better if they just made two different sets of armor one for pve with stats that geared towards pve and pvp with stats that are geared towards pvp. Kinda of like the way the normal vendors are set up that way everyone is happy. Either way i still dont see the reason to even persue the max level other then lvl advantage in IB and eaiser raids.. but whats the point of raiding after you have all the armor for it idk. I really hope they can expand on the universe of this game its starting to feel redundant. I want more quest that span multiple steps like the urn that was fun or thorn even though it was hard and made me want to quit once i completed it was satisfying,my need for a good challenge. I need some more immersion bungie to make me want to succeed in this game.

4 RepliesWell, the instance of Iron Banner before the DLC release had 30 light armor. It's possible we'll see 36 light armor, but if that happens at all I doubt it'll be so soon and, just like before, we'll only be able to equip two pieces of Iron Banner armor so you would still need to do the raid. Why don't you want to do the raid? At least we'll get some cool weapons, sexy shaders, and be able to re-roll perks of our Iron Banner weapons from the last event.

It shouldnt, or completely invalidates the actual team work required in raids, compared to the BSof the mp.

5 RepliesLvl 32 is a paid feature. So unless IB is for DLC only they will never have 32 gear. Until the next dlc drops and they raise the cap for daily/weekly activities, IB will be stuck at 31. They should offer a game changing weapon for lvl 5. Then people would play.

[spoiler]also...some players have solo'd the raid... xD so they've been able to get to 32--and some claim to never have done the raid and got to 32...talk about a late patch[/spoiler]
