Experienced yesterday [b]Platform: [/b]PS/4 [b]Location:[/b] Mars, adjacent to the emergence point for Mars Patrols. Basically, once you land on Mars, if you follow the track and keep to the left of the map, you eventually get the option to descend into a connecting tunnel. To your "right" of the tunnel entrance there is a small, perpetual skirmish underway between an invading group of Vex (always led by a Minotaur, but mostly consisting of Goblins, and a similar-strength cluster of Cabal (all "Legendary"). The Cabal base has 2 spawn points, a domed building with a Guardian broadcast/mission transceiver in it, and the Vex spawn from a cave that is adjacent to the Cabal structures, but out of the line of sight thanks to a ridge of rock. [b]Issue:[/b] Having "cleared" the area of combat forces [both enemy parties] yesterday, I observed that only the Cabal were re-spawning, and no Vex appeared to return to the area. When investigating, I discovered that the Vex Minotaur was "sort of" present - it was not visible phyisically, apart from a feint outline of it's central eye. This was just outside the Vex spawn cave and seemed to be attempting to work around what would for the Vex be their left flank, i.e. separated from the Cabal line of sight by the central ridge of rock. When I approached this "ghost" Minotaur, it opened fire repeatedly, with bolts literally materialising from thin air. The "Minotaur" did not move. At first it seemed as though the barrage was just emerging from thin air, but when I attempted to flank it, I was able to see the feint glow from the Minotaur "eye". Approaching it from behind - i.e. circling all the way round until I was adjacent to the cave mouth - meant that it did not draw fire. Whatever was there was incomplete but it was also incapable of turning - I could remain it this blind spot indefinitely [also out of sight of the Cabal]. Because this partial Minotaur remained, no other Vex spawned. Abandoned that area and went to the Dust Palace instead...
