The Last Word Hip Fire Precision Shots
I got TLW from Xur and have upgraded it to have The Last Word perk. I noticed however that even though i'm getting headshots from the hip with it the precision damage does not always register, most of the time in fact. Fallen heads with explode, hive will disintegrate and vex with explode. But it still shows as white damage and still lower than precision. Even on ogres hitting them in the head almost never registers a precision shot. Is there any plan to fix this because i've seen other posts about it.

1 ReplyI think it's to do with hipfire precision damage in general. The wording is misleading. It implies that The Last Word does more damage when hipfired, but rather, I believe that it rather doesn't lose as much precision damage when hipfired when compared to aiming at the same range. At certain ranges, hipfire will do extra damage to an enemy's weak point but it won't register as precision damage. I hope this is rectified, there's no reason it should ever do less damage or not count as precision.
