Unforgivable Destiny FIX IT
So I've had destiny for about two weeks now... There are many things I KNOW other players find enraging as well as myself. First off the nonexistence of a trade system. In essence I'm understanding Destiny to be a "MMOFPS". All MMO's have a trade system. Hint hint!! Players get drops of things they can't use. When this happens they don't rage. Why? Because they can easily sell or trade the item. Bungie give us a trade system or stop giving us items not able to be equipped by our class. Is like a slap in the face. I've seen no shortage of people raging because of this. Next up, limits on marks per week. People grind for marks. Be it vanguard or crucible. I can honestly understand a 100 marks per day limit. But 100 marks per week is ridiculous. Bungie wants people to play the game. Yet how can they honestly expect people to play when between mark limits and items not for their class being dropped/decrypted, they can't get anything. The only other problem I've seen is item drops. I literally played this past two weeks and only found 2 legendary engram's. Not for a lack of grinding either. I'm always doing the daily and weekly. I've also hit " VoG" twice. These are some serious game play issues. They out right make a person not even want to play. Bungie get your act together and resolve these issues. This game can be amazing so make it amazing.

Destiny isn't an MMO, their developers literally said it themselves. I mean honestly, 6 people for a raid? Woaaah, that's definitely massive. A trade system would just make players focus on bettering their economic status instead of gearing up, and then you have people who would sell in game items for real world money. There aren't that many items in the game, and it's because of that, that a trade system is nonexistent. Even if they let you trade whatever, you'd just get everything through trade and complain about lack of content. There isn't that much work in getting items compared to some other games out there. Stop being lazy and earn the items yourself. And also, that weekly raid reset is there so you'll be like, "I hope I get this piece, can't wait till Tuesday." Instead of being like, "I'm so bored, just did everything and got all the items in the game yesterday when I ran Crota 53 times in a row, where the poop is the new content?"

1 ReplyRng is just broken, in every way possible it is broken, do yourself a favor, don't buy any expansions and leave it as is, from my experience it doesn't get any better. The longer you play, the worse your rewards/drops/decryptions get, it's literally disgusting how terrible rng in destiny is. Get off the hamster wheel while u still can, or forever be F'd over by RNGesus

1 ReplyJust an example, I have been getting very lucky with drops recently. I did Crota twice last night and the 1st time I got Dragons breath and the second time I got Gjallahorn. I have both of them already and only one other person I was playing with had Ghorn. We were all level 31s so play time wasn't a factor. One of the other guys got the hammer which is a gun I don't have. What would be wrong with us trading? Maybe not a trade system for everything but at the end of raids there should be a way of making sure people get what they need. It's not realistic because bungie doesn't want to give us enough content so they make it to where we have to play the the same stuff dozens of times. I did 25 strikes this weekend for the Bad Juju bounty, turned in 36 engrams and not one upgraded. Not to mention my cryptarch went to level 41 and gave me 3 more blue engrams. That's the last 5 levels where I've got blue. Destiny has to have a system that keeps us coming back or the games lack if content wouldn't work.

Poor little noob. If only you knew how long threads like this have gone around. We would all like that but it will never happen. Destiny does not care about what we want unless it will do one of 3 things 1 make the game take longer to compleat, 2 make the game harder for us in pve, or 3 only help the pvp world because that's all this jack off of a game does is bend us over and help us none but hurt us as much as it can. So save yourself some time and don't get your hopes up that they will ever listen. Like I said I support you cause but am just here to say it will never happen. Good day

The only way trading would work is if there were about 3 times more content. End content right now is all the same for every class. Raid gear is the same for every player in their respective classes. My titans raid gear is the same as ur titans raid gear. Maybe some small tweaks on perks but it's essentially the same. I would like to trade my energy for ur shards though.

Save yourself sometime. If you want to play a real mmo go play ffxiv, WOW or SWTOR. Believe me destiny is rubbish if you are to try and compare it to a proper mmorpg. It could have been good, but the way the game is, stuff like trading cannot work. And for people that will tell you that trading wouldn't work, because everyone would be running around with the same gear, this should already tell you that the game is not a proper mmo (in the conventional sense) ever played WOW? They have a trading system, not everyone is running around with the same gear. You've only been playing 2 weeks. Save yourself some time, bungievision do not care about their fan base, they will not make this game an mmo. It is a waste of your time if that's what you are looking for. There are so many things that are missing that would make this an mmorpg. Take it for what it is, it is a shooter with a lot of grind and not a lot of story.

Edited by Augosyx: 1/12/2015 2:29:46 AMIt's true that Destiny is an MMO game but Bungie states that the game will not 100% act like one. What you get is what you get. With MMO's famous side effect of having Gold trading in their games, that reason alone is why Bungie didn't want to make trading possible. I'm pretty sure you don't wanna get spammed with Gold Trading messages everytime you boot the game. Raid is buggy and forever will be. They will take notes on what silly Guardians' cheese method and they will work on that more than actually fixing the whole Raid, Crota included. Marks should be fine since we're capping at 200 regardless, enough for at least 3 gears (except helmet) or 1 weapon once you get the commendations. You don't have to cap 100 per week unless you're up for some grinding. FFXIV have that same trait with capping their tomestones to 150 per week on their powerful gears. Veteran Guardians who played the game since launch (myself included) know the pain you're currently into. We all go through it Understand how the whole game works. You've still got lots to go in game.

Could you imagine a non-pissed off person who has been playing since day 1, has over 400+ hours in the game, gotten every or almost every exotic in the game, see someone who's put in 3 hours and has every exotic as well? That would be infuriating.

1 ReplyI've been playing since launch. Destiny is not an MMO get it right already. There never gonna fix VOG cause Crota has too many problems even though they had more than enough time to fix them all before the DLC came out. The next DLC comes out in 1 or 2 months and this will all happen again.

I completely agree with this post after the reset most of the time I can hit the mark cap on both and complete a vog and crota run in less than a day of play.

Trading would be nice but dumb because some 10 year old will find a way to dupe things and then make a youtube video spreading it across the world and every level 20+ will have ghorn

Trade system would have to be one item per week with an expensive trade price to work.but it don't matter cause they won't change it.plus trade would only come in when they actually have enough weapons to trade,wish they would add a shit ton more exotics and legendaries instead of stupid little updates all the time

I only still hang around because i bought into the hype and bought the LE. with the expansion pass. I have one friend left in game and we hang on weekends and shoot stuff while we shoot the $hit. When better gamevcomescalong I'm outta here or maybe I'll replay Fallout3 or Skyrim.... you know... good games.... complete games with everything real gamers want in game. VtxR - PS3

Actually both Bungie and Activision have described destiny as a shared world shooter they have never said it is an mmo they said it has some mmo like components but it is not an mmo

1 ReplyA trading system would ruin this game. So no they shouldn't implement that. Also, the marks limit is exactly what it is, to limit you from leveling too quickly.
