How did it feel beating the vault of glass?
So today I beat the Vault of Glass, it was an awesome feeling myself, as it took my team over 10 tries on Atheon only to beat him. I did pretty good as support(explains why I only got 81 kills...), so to know I played good and beat him was a very nice feeling.
What did you all feel when you first beat the Vault of Glass, do you have a story as well? Share!
EDIT: Wow lotta people replying, most have some positive stories. Some also commented on my score, which is okay, I am level 26 and am a casual, I wasn't expecting to kill a bunch of guys. Either way, loving the replies!

Felt great. I got awesome raid gear and plenty of shards.

It's a great feeling for sure. I wanted chatter white desperately and final completed the full raid week 2 of release, smashed chatter, fate bringer, and the aspect. Took about 2 hrs to get through Atheon but maaaaang it is by far the best game content. Crota is pretty fun when no one wants to cheese but the vault is balls. Now rip it on hard, then you'll feel like a giddy schoolgirl when the Vex becomes yours!

It was really exciting because it was still early on, before the cheese factory opened and not many of my friends had beaten it... Atheon took us a while, we were struggling so bad that we had to go back to the tower to load up on synths and while there we let off some steam and started goofing off... Played duck duck goose... Crowd surfed... "Nock the player off the ship loading beam thing" once we went back we beat him in 2 tries...

I could see getting only 81 kills in Crota's end because it's so easy and short but in VoG I've had 600+ kills on my own from one raid with only wiping at gorgons.

My first Atheon defeat was the day after VoG was out. It took us 6.5 hours to figure out the puzzles (No guides). Atheon fight alone was about 2 hours! When we finally defeated him, it was awesome! My favorite gaming moment ever!

First time I beat the VoG it was the happiest gaming moment of my life lol,never tried anything remotely like the VoG. Took us around four hours to beat Crota,this was in the first week it got released

First time took a while. It was late and when we finally dropped him I screamed so loud it woke up my wife and two kids. She was not amused to say the least. My team still makes fun of me on that ass chewing.

Omg we beat right before the reset in the first week and it was amazing! :D I got the patience and time which I didn't know was a reward but it was the gun I wanted most at the time!
