start us at the tower, not orbit
When we log on a lot of us go to the tower first anyway. Let us skip orbit and just start us in the tower. Then let us choose our destination from the tower. It would be awesome if we could land in the tower, snag a moon bounty and then go straight to the moon...or whatever planet we choose.

15 RepliesYou have to start in orbit so that you can then be spawned into a public area (Tower/Patrol) with [i]an open slot[/i] or immediately join a fire team if friends are on line. If the game spawned you to the tower, you'd only save the few seconds it takes to select "Tower." You wouldn't be able to skip the loading screen. The game can't skip the step of finding you an open slot.
