It's obnoxious because it instarapes in close quarters and is totally useless in mid range, so the people that use it *also* use the blink-shotgun combo. This can be very frustrating if the whole team is using it on a map with short sight lines like exodus blue. However the gun really isn't that over powered because, again, it is useless compared to handcannons and scouts and autorifles at mid range.
