Xur exotic upgrade
So i "upgraded" my exotic helmet. My helmet was fully upgraded. Then i went to xur and selected upgrade. It dropped my helmet all the way down. Now i have to start all over. Wtf???!!! Why is upgrade even an option if its not an upgrade. So -blam!-ing stupid. Bungie, u need to fix that dumb shit.

7 RepliesWhy would you choose to "upgrade" an already upgraded exotic? Did you think it would get to 40 light or something? Or are you just retarded? And it's not dumb to have the option to upgrade it again because sometimes the upgrades xur brings have higher stat roles than others.

Was your helmet a pre-dlc with only 300 defense? If so, once you max it out again it will be a higher light level. If it was an exotic you received post dlc, you made a huge mistake and should not have upgraded it.

2 RepliesIf you had a pre-dlc exotic that maxed out at 300. Xur will "upgrade it" to 331 max (v2.0) This is because knew dlc legendary wpns max at 331 It's keeps previous wpns you may have collected relevant. Jus think of it as a "patch" If however your wpn Max's at 331 already it does nothing but reset it

1 ReplyFirst off it's not an upgrade it's a trading system. You give Xur a certain item and he give you a new piece same stats just completely new. Also it takes a good amount of time to do that it's not you press a button and you have it.

7 RepliesUpgrading exotics from xur will reset your progress. It also boosts your starting light to 30 & upgrades total defense. :)
