Shouldn't Xur just sell an exotic weapon engram?
Let's face it, the "I earned my _______" argument will never cease, and as new DLC keeps coming out we will have more and more exotics, making it even harder for each one to be sold even once.
I'm very fond of the idea of simply having Xur sell a primary, secondary, or heavy exotic gun engram each week, rather than having repeats of previously sold guns.
What do you say, community? I'm eager to hear your thoughts.

i think hats a good idea also maybe you should be able to but and sell exotic shards so you can get some extra strange coins, could be a bit OP tho

Or let him sell exotics for exotic shards. This would be a less rng involved fix and would make him relevant again.

2 RepliesHe should defenetely not sell weapons engrams. Even If you make them expensive (Bungie won't go higher than 35 coins because of Christmas noobs) there are still people with 200/300+ coins who'll just buy 10 engrams and will possess every single exotic in one xur......

I agree, I think the game has been out long enough where a vast majority of the players should have more than half of the exotic weapons by now. It would not hurt to introduce Exotic Weapon Engrams. Even if the engrams only give you just the pre DLC weapons but with all the content coming out this year their will a lot more exotic weapons being brought in. Who knows with the Comet Expansion coming out late this year, their could be a whole new set of Exotic weapons coming out for all we know. Maybe weapon engrams will brought in at some point once their is enough Exotic weapons out and about and when Xbox finally catches up to the PS4 content who knows.

Non bounty heavies: Gjallarhorn Truth Dragon's Breath Thunderlord (Let me know if I've missed something) So in theory, I will get at least 1 of each if I buy 10 engrams, which I'm sure several people could afford at this point of the game. People would then QQ unless they excluded heavy engrams, and if they did include them, (some) of the people with Gjallarhorn and/or Thunderlord would QQ because they lost their special snowflake status.

To easy to get an guaranteed exotic. I like that random class thing. I mean if that wasnt there, then why buy the exotic its self when you can buy it cheaper in engram form.
