Xur is selling this weekend. I have Glass House but don't really use it much. Would really like Saint-14 but until I can obtain that one I was thinking of picking this one up. Looks beastly for Striker class and PvP. What are your thoughts?
Edit: Lots of good input. Thanks. Also, just an fyi since I see a lot of other suggestions, I already have Amamentarium, Glass House, Ruin Wings, and MK 44's. Was considering Skullfort for Striker and disco dancing but decided to pass on it for now. Really would like Saint 14 for defender use. Let's see if RNGesus or Xur will be kinder to me. Thanks everyone for all the info.

5 RepliesIt's the best striker helmet. Superior to helm of inmost light.
-
If you don't have many strange coins 30- NO! If you have a lot 30+ go ahead I wouldn't do it
-
The transfusion perk that comes along with it is nice.
-
I didn't need it I have helm of inmost light but I got it for looks
-
1 ReplyI use it for the looks. If I'm doing a nightfall or raid, S-14 every time.
-
Meh. Didn't do much for me.

1 ReplyOnly Titan Exotics worth your time: Striker: Helm of Inmost Light (Gives you Headstrong and Recklessness) Defender: Helm of Saint-14 (Enemies entering your bubble are blinded) Multi-purpose: a. Armamentarium : Dual Grenades, additional special and heavy ammo b. Ruin Wings: faster special reload, more heavy ammo drops and more heavy ammo in those drops The last two are very synergistic with the Raid boots (more heavy ammo). I've had 8 rockets with my Truth/Dragon's Breath, which is devastating. I've sharded the skullfort 3 times, and will do it every time I see it. Waste of time.

just use the transfusion skill
-
2 RepliesI have all exotic Titan helms and never use Insurmountable Skullfort. I would say save your coins.
-
Inmost light and saint 14 are way better
-
I got inmost light for striker so no thanks
-
2 RepliesHelm of saint 14 is awesome. Use it all the time. On the other hand, I think the striker class is rather useless in most PvE situations.
I may buy the insurmountable skullfort for my alt though
9 RepliesEdited by AnTiicz: 1/9/2015 7:55:57 PMIs the armenterium really that good. With the extra grenade? This is a legit question because I have that chest piece as well as buying the exotic helm that xur is selling today. I need opinions so I don't waste time upgrading it.
-
WHAT?! I CANT HEAR YOU OVER THE DEAFENING ROAR OF THE MULTIPLE BLASTS OF MY GHORN BECAUSE RUIN WINGS MAKE PURPLE RAIN. (Jokes aside, i am not very impressed with it)
-
It looks cool. Other than that it blows
-
-
Pass! Save your coins for somthing else. Only buy it if you have a surplus of coins and want it for a "showcase" exotic.
-
I fell like people would have to earn the helmet...
-
1 ReplyTo be honest, I got them because it has a better aesthetic appeal than the other exotics.
-
Unless you need an exotic for a titan, dont waste your coins. My titan uses this only because I got it from an engram and I havent found a better replacement for him yet.
-
I don't have it, don't really feel like I need it. Between Armamentarium and Helm of St 14, I can't imagine needing anything more. The skull fort looks only minimally useful for me
-
I got it and it goes with my striker class well.
-
1 ReplyI scrapped helm of saint-14 not long after I got it, didn't like it much. I run striker more than defender too so that was another reason I didn't like it that much. Hoping this is gonna be good because I'm picking it right when I get home
-
There are better exotics, but if you don't have any then grab this one. More pvp oriented with the whole spawning with melee energy and transfusion
-
If you got a Monte Carlo 80% of red bars turn into med kits
-
Its alright in pvp because you always spawn with your melee. Other than that, helm of in most light is better
