How did the flood get on to the Amber Clad?

yes meranda keys and sergent johnson took it to halo then they were captured by the brutes so amberclad was still on halo so the flood jacked it.

During ''Shooting Gallery'', on the stage Sacred Icon(I think) walk to the back of the gondala and look to the left, you should see IAC.

Is that when you meet up with the Spec ops, then he runs off. If so wher is it.

On the level where Arbiter has to get the sacred icon, you see the In Amber Clad docked on the ajacent gondila station . So i put two and two together and figured as the IAC was docked the flood got on and then crashed it into high charity. [Edited on 12/22/2004 4:25:26 PM]

I think he meant the last known location before it was apparently taken over by the Flood.

Butterflyer is correct about how the Flood got onto In Amber Clad. Why Gravemind came to High Charity? To well...spread. Remember that the Flood can never die, as they live in ''infinitude''. He most likely knows about Regret's plans to fly to Earth, so if he get a single Flood Infection form aboard that ship, kill a suitable host and creat a carrier, and make more Infection forms, then he could easily gain control of earth.

THE REAL ANSWER IS THIS AND ITS A FACT! Cortana sais that gravemind used them that they were just a diversion so he could get to the In Amber Clad, then in the level gravemind the In Amber Clad comes through slipspace into High Charity, with grave mind on it. thats how it happened ok. all you people should pay more attension the the story line

Since Gravemind and his Flood were able to get onboard HC via teleport or whatever other form of transportation they were able to get their hands on (probably a Covenant dropship, seeing how many Covenant were groundside on Delta Halo), it stands to reason they got onboard Amber Clad the same way.
